My wife and I had been in to visit the shop over the Memorial Day Weekend and we were both impressed with the shop. We agreed that the quality, variety and prices were all very good. I had seen an Arabic dharia dagger known as malsa, with a blade of the beyd type. What most collectors term "a Wahhabite Sabiki". It's rare to find them of this vintage, with the belt still intact. I felt the price was reasonable, but somehow talked myself out of buying it. I instantly regretted that... I called them on Tuesday, and described the item and asked if they would hold it for me. They were very helpful and accommodating. Upon my return to make my purchase, I was offered a 10% discount. This was very nice, even though (as previously mentioned) the original price was quite fair. I will be visiting the shop again, whenever I find myself back in Santa Fe. This is disturbing especially since children could be within earshot. Some staff also have no sense of customer service. My family was visiting from out of state and my son was looking at some old toys, my husband was helping him and the staff named Anthony came and yelled at them to put it down and get out of the area because it was closed. There was no sign or anything blocking it off. We of course quickly left the area and store. They also seemed to be following us in the store.
