The Sandshaker is an iconic beach bar in Pensacola Beach due to their claim to fame which is that the bushwacker originated from their bar years ago & they still make their famous frozen chocolaty rum concoctions so when you visit, its a must to try these delicious treats...and do it like the locals do & ask for the extra shot of 151 rum!! They also typically have great live music certain nights of the week as well! I have never heard a bad band play there! Usually, I hear bands that play many genres & eras of music, so there is sure to be music that everyone can enjoy! They have pool & darts inside, but it's a pretty tight squeeze when it's crowded. However, their massive outdoor areas/decks make up for the inside! Need more bushwackers... They have 1-2 extra bars open outside on their busy days/nights/weekends! If your not sure what to wear, that's easy...bathing suits if your just coming in from having fun in the water or beach attire & flips flops/deck shoes or get dressed up if you want! You will fit in no matter what you're wearing! Go check out the Sandshaker & let the locals welcome you, if you're new to the area or visiting on vacay, b/c you will be sure to have fun & enjoy great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the bartenders here is not a good face for the company at all. It got to the point I didnāt even want to order drinks because I knew Iād have to talk to this lady.
You know you are a rude person when there are multiple reviews mentioning you personally.
The long haired blonde woman is extremely rude. Rude as soon as you enter. Considering there are multiple reviews mentioning her, I am not sure at all why she is still there.
The place is awesome but I couldnāt get over this womanās awful service. August 3rd, 2019 around 11 pm. I started talking to her how she talked to me and she sure didnāt like it. Sheās probably the reason their tip jar was empty.
I mentioned how rude she was and everyone basically said āitās hard being a bartenderā Sure, it is hard, but it is not hard to be nice to people when they are treating you with the respect you deserve. Every time I spoke with her my ārespect meterā drained and drained. She needs some training in customer service.
As soon as we ordered I looked at my friend like, āWTF?ā And my friend said āI saw a lot of reviews about her.ā Hmmm... not a...

The inside isn't as large as it appears from the exterior, but they have plenty of seating outside as well as a separate tiki bar. Stopped for a cold drink after spending the afternoon in the sun. I'm not a fan of sweet, frozen drinks. I learned a long time ago, brain freeze only makes the hangover worse. But of course we ordered a bushwhacker, and not being a fan of that drink, it was pretty good. You'll also be bushwhacked by the time you finish it cause oh lawd, the 2 sips I had was plenty boozy. I could barely taste the chocolate, but in a good way. Had a good time joking with the bartender over the quality of karaoke singers while she heavy handed the rest of her mixed drinks. I could only enjoy one drink, the +1hr drive prevented me from getting lit. As it was night, we enjoyed the outside seating and the views from...
