My bride and I lived aboard at Sausalito Yacht Harbor for 15 years (late 80s-early 2000s) on our big, well-maintained and very active classic wooden motor yacht. We were right in the best location in the harbor; ie, the downtown boardwalk. It was a wonderful "golden" era of our lives -and for Sausalito, as well- and we'll never forget it. The community and characters we met there were amazing. Herb Madden and his family have run this run this place for many, many decades and were (are) terrific and very kind to us.
