So I had a mixed experience at this restaurant . I wasn’t treated very nice by the hostess who snapped at me when I asked if I could have a little larger table. Her response was that it could hold 4 people and she wasn’t going to waist the space. We aren’t a huge chain restaurant she said. The heaters were going full blast directly over my bald head making me feel sunburnt. I asked if it could be turned down and she made a weird grunt/ hupf noise and turned it off completely. I would suggest using the game area in front of the waterfront to put more tables if seating is so limited. I mean seriously you have a fire pit that takes have of the dinning area for 4 people to sit at but your upset that someone having a nice dinner may not want to sit shoulder to shoulder with a stranger. Over all the hostess ruined the night for me and if it wasn’t for very good and creative food I would give this place a very poor rating. BUT— The food was very good, you have to eat it fast because the hostess turned off the heater and so my food got cold very quick! I know she was upset but it literally was on full blast and I was in a direct path of 120 heat blowing on me. Thinking about it now I probably should not have said anything about my table or the temperature and I think it may have been more pleasant. I left a large tip because the waitstaff were attentive and I could see their face and how mortified they were when this lady interacted with customers. lol. A table of three actually lied to her and finally got a larger table by telling her a friend had called and was going to join them and she reluctantly moved them. All the patrons eating dinner kinda looked at each other and gave thumbs up to them for figuring out a way to get a comfortable seat.. although I will be in town for 13 weeks I probably will check out the 10 or 20 other restaurants before going back to this one due to the hostess. It’s a shame cause as you can see from the pictures the view is to die for and the food is quite original and has some good care taken in its preparation and presentation. I have eaten and reviewed many restaurants and to be honest this had the potential to be one of my favorites. It has everything you could want in a beach side atmosphere but is lacking training on customer service and that was actually so bad it ruined the whole...

I had brought my wife, 3 month old son and dog here to have lunch. Upon parking, my son was being fussy so I let my dog out to relieve herself in the bushes, while my wife remained in the car to try and calm my son down. I had parked next to a BMW and upon returning to the car, my son began crying. Acknowledging it was best not to disturb the restaurant customers, we decided to go to the park down the street and I could walk back to order lunch to-go.
As I’m entering my car, a bald white man driving a Mercedes in the parking lot speeds by me and parks his car intensely (i.e. speeding and braking hard). Before I start to leave, the man (either an employee or the owner) who is wearing a Bar Bocce uniform points at me to stop me from leaving like I’m some criminal. I rolled down my window, and he tells me the BMW next to me has a dent in it and accuses me of hitting it when I opened my door. He then proceeds to hold us hostage, forcing me to prove that I did not hit the BMW by opening my door and showing that the dent (which I don’t even believe was there) was misaligned to where my car door would have intersected with the the BMW. He then says “ok you’re good, you can go” as if I was being released from an interrogation room.
My son is wailing in the back seat the entire time, but he does not care one bit. He did not apologize for wrongfully accusing me or for holding my family up and making them uncomfortable. In fear for my wife and child, I complied. For those who have experienced racism in a predominant white neighborhood, you should understand why.
As a side note, I am respectful of other people’s property. The parking spot was small, but whenever I open my door in smaller spaces, I always place my hand between the area that might touch another car to ensure I don’t ding another car.
Just because of my ethnicity and the fact that I’m not driving a fancy car, does not mean my family and I should be treated as less than human.

Read moreWe had the worst experience the last time we went (May 28th 2023) We went to enjoy the food, drinks and view. I had always liked and even brought other people to this restaurant whenever we were in the area due to the view from the patio and pizza. Food was good last time but everything else including drinks and service was horrible. We had to ask the waiter to add alcohol to the pitcher and they told me that it is a common complaint because they don't have a full bar. That is the most nonsensical excuse we have ever heard. The cocktails are 'half proof' which according to the waiter have 2% alcohol content. The waiter ended up adding a small amount of liquor 'for free' which was still like drinking water in an effort to increase his tip. On top of that, we were never given water on the table and after expressing our disappointment of the drinks, the waiter had the nerves to come back and demand a higher tip amount that matches one of the suggested gratuities. We were forced to up the tip, left in utter disbelief and ruined vibes. All in all, Do not go here for drinks! They blatantly skimp and scheme their customers. If you want good artisan pizza there are way better establishments after you take in the view in Sausalito. This restaurant won't get my business again.
Suggestion to 'bar' bocce, 1. if you have half proof liquor, just add more to make it full proof otherwise get rid of the bar from the name. 2. If your waiters demand a tip then it is not a 'gratuity' so either include that in the bill (which would lose your customers) or pay your...
