Out of thirty-nine movie sales where this customer went through alibris website's embracing nationwide Half Price Books' goods & services, the latter dominant force's predominant earned 5-star accolades all have selfsame resonant theme:Faithful description at what a real swell price, also bubble mailer usage ahead its en route! However -that with our Schaumburg[IL] chain outlet- quite some brought into play went one step beyond ordinary plain old expectance when my set apart unbeknownst express bent over backwards, while he or she not just refunds purchase price for an unavailable item(Lionsgate's 2001 DVD release preference from 1995's "Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Next Generation")but complimentary sends off their onhand Columbia-Tristar[July 13,1999]version...Who has any Kleenex(R) online 'cause I'm seriously getting verklempt???
Thank you,HPB-Schaumburg,as both keep case and disc feature companion imparts such topnotch shape(moreover, your bubble mailer of upwards 60% recycled materials didn't hurt none either);through which appreciatory twice down here around Halloween time it'll categorical pass along said token versus the regift idea whereby each separate never stops giving.
Rene`e Zellweger reflected on the film in a 2016 interview, saying,"It was very low-budget,so we all shared a tiny Winnebago that the producer of the film---it belonged to him,it was his personal camper. So,you know, makeup was in the front seats and there was a table in the middle for hair, and there was a tiny little curtain by the bathroom. That was where you put your prom dress and your flower on...It was ridiculous. How we pulled that off,I have no idea. I'm sure none of it was legal. Anything we did was a little bit dangerous. But what an experience. It was kamikaze filmmaking."[per Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:under 'Filming' category]
In a 1996 interview,Matthew McConaughey denied that he ever wished to conceal his work in the film, commenting,"I'm not embarrassed by it at all. It was fun and honest work at a time when I was trying to figure out how feature films are made and how different directors deal constructively with actors. Read moreI called to check on some titles I was looking for for my children’s battle of the books club at school. A very nice woman looked up each title over the phone, took my name and said the books would be on hold for me for a week and I could come in any time to pick them up. I went out of my way the next day to go to the store and pick up the books that were being held for me only to find out that they claim to have made a mistake and the books were already on hold for someone else. They only had one out of the seven they were holding for me. I asked how they could go through each and every title over the phone to check availability, offer to hold all the books but not know they were reserved for someone else? If someone else had reserved them wouldn’t they have already been pulled from the shelves and marked unavailable. The woman in the store Thursday at 4:00 on 11/21/24 just gave me a snotty look and held her arms up as if she didn’t really...
Read moreReally great selection of used books and media. Their CDs are decently priced and their metal selection is more than just a handful of discs. They also have a nice movie section with popular titles and the horror section also has some nice less well-known features. One of my only complaints is that they separate all their Blu-rays from their DVDs, so if you are only browsing a certain genre it makes it more cumbersome to search through. I've noticed other stores do this as well and I don't understand why. The staff were kind of non-existent. Some of them were separated into a section where customers can sell stuff (and as someone who has worked in retail involved in a secondary market this is 100% the right decision) but the rest just walked past me. Again, this isn't a big problem for me. Overall, a really great store and I wish we had one near me because this is the kind of place I would visit...
