WINGS Resale Store — Attraction in Schaumburg Township

Wings has to be the best resale/thrift store in Chicagoland. The Schaumburg location especially. It's not very large but there is ALWAYS something that we end up buying every time we visit. They seem to do 50% off the last weekend of the month, every month now. When everything is half off it's crazy how much you can find for $10 or $20. I get a lot of clothing that I destroy at work here and at great prices.

Everything looks like it's wiped down and/or sanitized. Nothing is ever dirty or has that thrift store smell to it, unlike Goodwill or Savers. The employees and volunteers are always polite and if you do need help with something, they're always available. The back of this store has a lot of furniture, which is half off on Saturdays and Sundays. If you're looking for something for your kids, or an extra couch or coffee table for cheap, this is the place.

Wings helps domestic violence victims so this is the only place we'll ever donate things to. There are two other Wings locations but we think the Schaumburg one...

I was a regular customer to this store it is not because I am in need, but I heard that they use the money for a good cause, I went there with my 2 kids I just entered the store a man working there told me to keep my kids with me because he didn’t want them to touch the glasses, I understood I tried to do my best watching them and shop, then my kids went to the toy section and we are looking and a lady working there told the man that my kids are playing in the toy section twice , he came to me and told me that the toy section is not a babysitter section and I have to keep them with me and I was there next to them, at that point I was very mad because I felt that he is saying take your kids and leave. My kids didn’t do anything wrong he was rude and he approached me since I entered the store I will never shop there anymore. Please put a note by the door no kids are allowed! And for the lady working there ,you don’t like kids dont work in a store...

Well, I just happened to be in the neighborhood today & decided to stop into my favorite consignment/second-hand store- WINGS Resale Store & everything happened to be 1/2 off (so exciting!!! 🤗)

There are always so many treasures to be found here! I got so many amazing Christmas decorations, a Semper Fi blanket for my Dad, Angels, books, signs, gifts for friends, book frames & positive affirmation decor, etc.

Not only does this place support a great cause (providing funds for women who have suffered at the hand of domestic violence & helping them to find shelter & temporary housing), but the people who work here are very kind, the store is very clean & well-organized!
