Dufry Duty Free — Attraction in SeaTac

Horrible experience they were suppose to bring my purchase to the gate. Nobody knows how to do there job and I felt the clerk intentionally took my money and was going to have me board plane without my purchase. I asked the gate attendant how the process worked and she didn’t have a clue and was extremely rude - no help. I was scheduled to board first, but instead had to walk back to the duty free store to find my purchase. Now after paying extra to fly first class and board first - I now lose my ability to board first chasing down my purchase from someone basically stealing from me. She also had the odasity to charge me for a bad I didn’t ask for!!! That’s just wrong!!! My bag is now three overhead bins down and people had to wait. Shame on the clerk for trying to play stupid and steal from me and shame on the lazy gate attendant at S7 Vancouver flight that was suppose to board at 6:50. We didn’t board til 15 min late. Was clearly not impressed with Seattle...

The most difficult experience I've had with duty free. Dont waste your time at this airport. Constantly giving reasons not to make a purchase.

Tried to purchase a bottle during layover and was refused. Told to come back when they are about to close as it's closer to my boarding time. Show up again and they wanted me to pay and they would deliver the bottle during boarding. They close an hour prior to my flight boarding. Gave up. Not worth the risk of trying to track down a purchase across the airport while trying to board.

This review is based on staff alone. Not only unhelpful but notably rude, one employee in particular working in the fragrance section seemed to be blatantly trailing a few feet behind customers including myself eyeing them suspiciously for no apparent reason and completely violating their personal space. It made everyone visibly uncomfortable and many left the store.
