This is my second time now "starting" at Crossfit. I started here years ago, then life got in the way. I was fortunate enough to start again when so much has changed: me getting older, new coaches and ownership, and of course new friends. There are very accomplished athletes here, as well as those just looking to improve daily fitness. High schoolers to folks that have high schoolers as grandchildren. Everyone is welcomed, and everyone is encouraging. The workouts provided through their app are great, and you can reserve a time in class based on your schedule. It makes it very easy to know what to be prepared for, and to track yourself and see how far you and others have progressed. The hardest step is the first one through the door. Once you do, you'll want to keep coming back to this excellent community dedicated to individual and community growth.

CrossFit West Seattle has been my home away from home for over 10 years. The variety of workouts is amazing, fun and always possible to modify to member’s‘ abilities and fitness levels. Coaches are there for support, helping to make everyone feel successful. Through 2 hip replacements and other injuries have I always felt welcome, got all the help, support and encouragement not only from the coaches but the community as well. Who doesn’t love to be able to lift a barbell with classmates cheering you on or be a kid again by trying to climb a rope?

I’ve been a member at this gym for about 1.5 years and this gym is definitely a place I would recommend and encourage anyone to check out. Coaching: The coaches are friendly, encouraging, and top notch in terms of breaking down the flow of each class, reviewing and demoing workout movements, and providing scaling options for new and/or experienced members as well. Programming: By design CrossFit workouts vary and that is no different here. Whether it be a strength workouts, fast-paced interval workouts, long cardio/endurance workouts, or the occasional CrossFit “Hero” or “Girl” workouts, there is a lot of variety in the programming in addition to the normal weight lifting and skill development work as well. I also really like that this gym incorporates “Choose Your Own Adventure” style workouts where you are given a time cap and a certain number of reps and movements to complete, and you get to decide your own strategy to complete the workout (of course the coaches will provide you tips if needed). The gym also provides various specialty classes and open gym options and a few dedicated skill development/enhancement workshops throughout the year as well. Community: The community here is great. The gym does a great job of building community amongst its members through various social and fitness related events. Facility: The coaches and members do a good job of keeping the facility clean and ensuring that after class, the equipment and your workout space is sprayed and wiped down. In terms of the facility itself, the building is old, but it is laid well and spacious enough for a regular class...

From the moment you walked through the door, you are greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at ease.

The coaches at CrossFit West Seattle are knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic about their craft. They take the time to get to know each member personally and tailor their coaching to individual needs, ensuring that everyone feels supported and encouraged throughout their fitness journey.

The facilities at CrossFit West Seattle are top-notch, with a wide range of equipment available to suit all fitness levels and goals. The gym is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing the perfect environment to achieve your fitness goals.

One thing that really sets CrossFit West Seattle apart is their community spirit. Everyone from the coaches to the members are incredibly supportive, friendly, and welcoming, creating a real sense of belonging and camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a beginner, you'll feel right at home at West Seattle CrossFit.

Overall, I cannot recommend CrossFit West Seattle highly enough. It's a fantastic place to get fit, make new friends, and have fun along the way. If you're looking for a positive, challenging, and rewarding fitness experience, look no further than CrossFit...

My boyfriend calls it my third place! I was really worried about finding a new CrossFit gym when I moved to West Seattle last year, and I tried multiple places before loving CFWS. We have a really great community and athletes at all different levels and age groups. The coaches are super attentive during classes and even off the clock during open gym hours that I use to work on skills. I also really like the included clinic/workshops we have to learn new CrossFit skills like rope climbs and double unders. I’ve built up a lot of muscle mass and my strength and my weightlifting confidence is greatly improved. If you’re kind of intimidated, this gym has a lot of amazing female athletes and coaches (6 ladies just made the quarterfinals) and everyone is friendly and supportive of each other during class. The owner Danielle is the best and truly cares about the members. She gets new/updated equipment for the gym every couple of months, schedules fun social events regularly in and outside the gym, and is always open to feedback about how to make the gym better and more fun. I highly recommend this gym for intense (but scalable) programming, fantastic community and to make new friends if you’re new...
