āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø If youāve ever wondered what would happen if pirates threw a disco party, Admiral Pub is your answer. This place is delightfully unhinged in all the right ways. The night I went, the theme was pirates ā eye patches, treasure maps, the works ā but the music was full-on glitter-ball disco fever. Nothing says āeclectic nightlifeā like watching a guy in a captainās hat doing the hustle.
The crowd? A glorious mix of locals who looked like they either just came from a vintage store or just time-traveled here from a cooler era. People were DANCING. Like, dancing without shame, ego, or regard for rhythm ā it was beautiful.
The game room is a total blast ā pinball machines that light up like Vegas, skee-ball, and basketball.
Now letās talk bathrooms. Not usually a highlight, but these were so clean, I actually saw a woman eating a salad in there. Like⦠fork, bowl, full bite. Thatās either a testament to their hygiene standards or the surreal nature of this bar. Either way, I respect it.
Bottom line: Admiral Pub is weird, wild, and absolutely worth your time. Bring a friend. Or three. And maybe...

The trick is to call in early to reserve a table because when we got there an hour before trivia, there was only two tables left. The staff is super helpful and kind and helped us secure tables for our friends, but we got there just in the nick of time. I would recommend against ordering food here as we ordered the hot wings and could barely take a second bite. Werenāt cooked and there was cinnamon or something in the sauce?! We did order the tacos after that and they were OK. The trivia here is laid-back, friendly and fun, thereās lots of breaks for mingling, and there are cash prizes. It is free to play. On nights where they donāt have trivia it looks like they have a full roster of events. They have a wall up with a bunch of board games and a full on pinball area in the back so this makes it a great place for a lot of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAdmiral Pub is as solid a bar as you'll get. I usually stop in here when I'm meeting up with a buddy of mine who lives in the Admiral area. It always ends the same way... I'm filled with too much cold beer, delicious greasy food and a 2nd place finish at Big Buck Hunter.
It's fairly big with plenty of options depending on who you're hanging out with. Up front there's tables for dining. Kids are allowed up in this area. There are darts, pool tables and plenty of TVs. Pub classics like Big Buck Hunter and Golden Tee are in the back. Lots of selections and options on the menu. Mostly pub grub type stuff but they do offer some home cookin' meals. They updated things not too long ago so it's nicer and cleaner then similar spots near by. Parking can be a challenge at times in the neighborhood, but there's always a spot if you don't mind a block...
