Dulce Lash & Skin Lounge (Seattle) — Attraction in Seattle

I’m truly livid after my experience of getting a classic set here. Let me preface this by saying that i got a groupon, and ended up paying 82 dollars for the set. had i not, it would have been over 200 dollars. the woman doing my lashes, who’s identity i will not share, did not listen to me at all during the consultation, had no conversation what so ever, the vibes were so strange, and all of the interactions i tried to have with her failed. i showed photos of what i wanted, and she continued to do what she wanted (nothing similar to my photos). it seemed like she didn’t even look at them because she continued to ask me questions that built the set she ended up giving me, which was nothing like what i wanted. i’d understand if she didn’t know how to do the sets i showed her, but the least she could have done was communicate. by the way, the sets were NOTHING fancy or intricate. just classical cat eye sets. that’s not even the worst part. never in my life have i had such low quality lash extensions, EVER. i’ve gotten my lashes done by a handful of techs. i’ve gotten a lot of different sets. these started to fall off within the first night (in excess.) by the fifth day, when i’m writing this right now, they had shed so much that i had to remove the rest because they looked as though they were 3 week old lashes (in literally less than a week). the fact that they charge as much as they do here is insane to me, especially if my tech was at the standard that the rest are. so now i just had 82 dollars flushed down the drain. if i were you id find anywhere else, especially if you’re trying to just get a classic set without a groupon. so not worth the money. hopefully it was just my tech and not the rest because ive seen some beautiful ones on their instagram....

I'm giving a one star review not based on the quality of work that I've experienced at Dulce but due to their poor customer service. I have been going to Dulce for the last few months in preparation for my wedding. After receiving my confirmation text the day before my appt (which I confirmed for) I came in for my last appointment before the wedding to find that my appointment had been cancelled by the manager that morning because my lash stylist had moved to the Mercer Island location. I had just been in two weeks prior and it was never mentioned to me that she would be moving nor did I receive a phone call or voicemail stating that I would need to move my appt until the morning of my appointment. I looked back at my email and verified that I had not received any notification prior to the morning of stating that my stylist had left. They had no way to accommodate me and I was leaving town that same evening as it is a destination wedding. The woman who had to break the news to me was hardly apologetic and kept insinuating that it was my fault because they had tried to get a hold of me which I assured her after looking through voicemails, emails and phone calls that I had not been notified until that morning.

As a beauty professional myself, I was so incredibly disappointed with how this was handled and would never return to a place with so little respect for their clientele. I will be sure to warn my friends who also have utilized Dulce's services as many of them are beauty professionals and would also never let a situation like this occur...

I have had one other lash artist before finding Keely. “My” Keely is how I refer to her when I talk to friends / family who ask about my lashes. Keely is kind, witty, patient, gentle, talented and truly cares about you and your experience with your lashes. Keely always asks if there are adjustments that need to be made as she truly wants you to feel great when you leave the salon. She is a fantastic and very experienced lash artist and has my loyalty after having lash extensions off and on over 3 years. Keely is very concerned about cleanliness and ensures her hands are sanitized before starting along with providing fresh linens. I always feel so relaxed after the appointment as her playlists are chill and it’s comfortable enough to take a little nap! Keely is a wonderful human being and you will feel like you are hanging out with your BFF, leaving your visit with a new set of beautiful lashes that last for...
