Fremont Peak Park — Attraction in Seattle

Badass park. Took my two pitbulls there at like 6am (because, well, they're insane and casual playtime to them terrifies people that arent familiar with the breed) and it was deserted. This neighborhood pocket-park offers stunning Westward views overlooking Ballard, the locks, and the Olympic Mountains. There are some interesting modern art pieces made from recycled materials. Parallel street parking (free) only nearby and parking in front of the park entrance is a very steep incline for those that are nervous about parking. I visited Seattle and stayed in the Fremont neighborhood. I wanted to explore the local scene some and this was one of the recommendations I received.
