I can't say enough good things about Baskette! To start the space is so warm & inviting from the moment you enter it's giving southern euro vibes with great attention to detail in the design, and everyone working is super friendly & helpful. All of the goods are so thoughtfully selected, from the unique picnic baskets & blankets, to the wine, snacks, spreads, etc. Not to mention you can find quite a few things you can't find hardly anywhere else, and a lot is locally sourced. The food is all grab & go and you really can't go wrong, we had the funghi sandwich & baguette, and I don't think I've ever had such a delicious sandwich in Seattle like the bread on this sandwich alone made my day (the sandwiches are all wrapped in paper with twine too so very cute). We also grabbed some baked treats and I think these are the best madeleines I've ever had, I could eat a dozen in one go. Hands down my new fav spot to grab breakfast, lunch, or a sweet treat in Fremont!

Run, don’t walk, to book Baskette for your next catering need! We’ve loved the food at their cafe for a while, so we decided to reach out to Baskette about catering a Sunday brunch for the morning after our wedding. Stephan and his team were so helpful partnering with us to plan a spread that fit a wide variety of dietary restrictions, and were respectful with figuring out how to do that within our budget. Working with them was so easy and fun! The brunch came out beautifully, and we had rave reviews from family and friends, including several who made a point of stopping by the cafe on their way out of town because they just needed one more cinnamon roll. We’d work with Baskette again in a heartbeat!!

Been waiting for this place to open and today is the day!! I got the breakfast sandwich and the “jus du matin” aka morning juice and both were fantastic! Looking at the menu description the breakfast sandwich didn’t jump off the page for me as it reads like a classic egg/cheese/meat sandwich but WOW! The taste is 11/10! Truly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! And the juice tastes so fresh and they nailed the flavor combo. The shop area of the café couldn’t be cuter! So many adorable picnic-y accessories and a lot of vintage baskets and more. Can’t wait to see this place become a neighborhood favorite - I know I’ll be back very soon!

Baskette is such a gem in Fremont! The first time we walked in, we just went, “Wow.” It’s so cozy and inviting, with a beautifully curated selection of wine, food, and gifts—it’s the kind of place where you just want to linger.

We’ve been a few times now and have loved everything we’ve tried. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were pure comfort food, the lamb stew was rich and flavorful, and their sandwiches? Absolutely amazing. You can tell they put a lot of care into their menu. The flavors are rich, comforting, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.

On top of that, the staff is always so friendly, which makes the experience even better. Every visit has been a treat, and we always leave happy. Can’t...

Baskette has very quickly become one of my favorite spots in Seattle. The food is absolutely delicious (I think I’ve tried every sandwich & pastry by now…no notes!!). The coffee, which I learned is a custom blend, is so tasty (and I’m a self-proclaimed coffee snob). The staff is wonderful and always greets me with a smile and kindness. And I’ve bought multiple gifts for friends/family from the picnic provisions section (and I’ve definitely dabbled in the amazing wine selection).

If you’re looking for a delightful spot to stop at, where you can be assured you’ll get quality food and friendly faces, whether it be a quick break during the work week or a weekend lunch outing with friends, I would highly...
