Sign up if you can! I waited a long time to find just the right sound healing class, and this was it! Irene is an amazing teacher, so humble, so fun, easily approachable, her soft loving energy is a joy to be around. I learned so much from her decades of experience and wisdom. Her and her assistant Karen work so well together, I enjoyed seeing their special bond, it put all of us at ease to watch them interact (especially when they demonstrated to us “the practical / hands on” portion of this class. I’ve been to a few sound baths, and this is by far my favorite. The space is very comfortable, warm, and clean. It smells nice, it’s quiet, and the bathrooms are nice. Karen and Irene are clearly very experienced. The are so many bowls and some are quite big, so they resonate strongly. They also will bring bowls near your body to feel them more closely during group sessions. I’ve gone a couple times now and I’m excited to go again. I have been to the Seattle Sound Temple both for community sound baths and a private sound bath with the lovely Irene and both experiences are incredibly nourishing, meditative and healing on many levels. The temple is gorgeous and is the perfect space for allowing ones energy to realign and recalibrate as needed. It’s almost like a musical massage for the soul.
