Hunter Tree Farm lot — Attraction in Seattle

If I could give Hunter's Tree Farm 100 Stars I would! I don't know how long they have had their seasonal tree lot on 35th, but my family has been going here since I was a child. Picking out the perfect tree is part of our annual holiday traditions!

They have a great selection - all types and sizes available at reasonable prices. (This year we got a 5 foot Noble Fir.) They also have Wreaths, Garland, and more. This year we also got a beautiful bough Cross to take to the cemetery. I did a flocked tree from them once and it was beautiful with heavy flock all over. (Way easier and less messy than doing it yourself!)

Stellar service too. Their workers will help you select a tree. They will pull them out and let you see all sides. They are patient and will show you all the trees you want to look at. They put it on a machine to shake off any loose needles, they trim the top and bottom if wanted, they put it in a net and they tie it to the top of the car for you. And they do it with a smile.

If you do not have a roof rack: do not take their offer of strapping the tree to the top of your car!!! Unless you want scratches all over your car!

Our attendant slapped the tree right on without a single word about the possible damage that might be caused by the tree and the ropes that he cinched right onto the paint through the door frames.

And this was all after we were made to wait to checkout because the attendant for a customer ahead of us had strapped their tree onto their car before they paid for it, and couldn't figure out what kind of tree it was or how much it costs!

So we all had to wait while he unstrapped the tree from their car just to drag it back to the cashier so they could pay for it...

Overall, an incredibly thorough display of unprofessionalism and lack of care for...

I've been buying trees here since my sons were babies , and I love it here. Family-owned not corporate stays the same every year unlike anything else in our society. But here's a tip! Now my youngest son has been working here for the last 3 years loading up the trees on the cars. And I'm finding out plenty of people don't tip! People please TIP these young people! It's really hard work hauling around these heavy trees loading them up on top of your car! They do their best customer service for you, it's really physically hard work they're exhausted at the end of their shift , if just you've just bought $100 tree you should be able to swing a...
