I started practicing Pilates in 2019 on my physical therapist’s recommendation and have taken classes at different studios in a few countries. In 2022, I started weekly private and group sessions at Mind and Body Pilates Studio, and it’s been a fantastic experience. Pilates keeps my lower back pain away!
Dana, the owner, has been teaching Pilates in Seattle since the 90s, and his depth of knowledge really shows. He tailors the practice to each person, making sessions both effective and enjoyable. Josh and Erin are also incredible instructors—each with their own approach but equally skilled at making classes engaging and challenging in a fun way.
This studio has been part of the community for over 20 years, and it’s easy to see why. The instruction is top-notch, and the environment is welcoming and supportive. If you're looking for experienced, thoughtful teachers in a place that truly values its...

He has a way of pushing you to improve while keeping it fun and enjoyable. I always leave feeling stronger and more motivated to come back.

What makes this studio extra special is the sense of community. People of all ages and backgrounds show up regularly, and it creates such a welcoming and down-to-earth atmosphere. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality of teaching...

All in front of a class. Anyone who teaches Pilates, yoga, etc. should be comfortable with clients needing to modify certain poses or moves due to injuries, pregnancy, etc. Fortunately I was able to find another studio that has enabled me to practice Pilates in a safe, inclusive and welcoming...
