***For all of my brown skin folk, stay away***I contacted this shop for a full set, upon my arrival. I sit down and they were friendly enough. I showed him a picture of what I wanted (3-tone color blocking w/ gems). As soon as he sees the picture he said “You sure, these expensive”, I was taken aback because of how subjective the matter was…what’s expensive to one, may not be expensive to another. I replied, “uhh…yes…this is what I want”. Normally I don’t bother asking for a price (most techs tell you upfront but…) because I know I like them on the longer side and will usually do some sort of design I will generally be sitting in the $150-$200 range anywhere I’ve gone, even if its more that’s fine as long as I get my nails the way I want. But a red flag was drawn with his previous remark so I asked, how much? He pulls out his phone to make a call, asks if it was my first time there then gets up to talk to whomever is in charge I presume, and returns to says $265. I couldn’t help but chuckle 😂 I said “interesting, but okay…how did you come to that figure?” He looks at me stuck…so I said “what’s the breakdown, a full set costs what? Then the add-ons…how’d you get to $265” he said oh “well it’s more expensive because of the tips…different tips” which mind you wouldn’t have been required based on the length pictures but nevertheless….the tips really take things over the top then? Please!!! I’m perfectly fine with a private business charging whatever they feel their product or service is worth and it’s up to consumers if they’d like to consume. What I’m not okay with is somebody jacking up the price on me arbitrarily. There’s isn’t any reason why phone calls have to be made to determine a price if your pricing is set. They’re gouging SPECIFIC customers. Needless to say when he couldn’t articulate a simple cost breakdown of the services HE told me would be “expensive”, I politely said no thank you and walked out. This was unprofessional at best! But I most certainly peeped the BS.

I went to this place on a Friday afternoon which was really busy there. I waited about 1 hour and 30mins while he finished my nails within 10mins. As the pictures shown, my pinky got cut while he filed my nails. And the lady who applied my nail polish didn’t really put efforts since it’s not even and the parts near my cuticles are not covered, and there is even excessive polish on my finger tip. Also she didn’t even fully cover my nails by topcoat. My friends even thought that I did my nails myself (that’s how bad it looks). This really bothers me so I went there next day and they redid it for me. However, there is no apology for cutting my skin and this very unpleasant service especially when they talk in Vietnamese while others can not understand. I’d say, they could’ve done better, but just don’t go there when it’s so busy because you won’t get a very satisfied experience.

I haven’t switches nail salons/nail techs in 10 years because I am so particular about how they are done. But, I needed to find a new salon because I moved to the neighborhood. I came in and Justin took off my current acrylics, gave me a new full set (french ombre) and decked them out with crystals. He took his time and paid attention to every detail. He used every technique that I could have asked for. Things like comparing nails to make sure they were the same length, turning my hands around and filing them so the ends were perfectly straight, triple checking the placement of the crystals before curing them with the UV light, etc. AND I was given a glass of champagne and got a massage at the end. The champagne and massage was something my last place didn’t do. All in all, this was an amazing experience and I will be going back regularly! I highly recommend this place.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I just want people to know about my experience here and maybe the salon will see the review and maybe they'll try to improve. I went here because this salon had great reviews and is close to me but I didn't have a very pleasant experience with this salon unfortunately so I wouldn't recommend anybody go here and I won't be going back. The salon isn't very clean and their nail work is a little sloppy. I went in for a fill and the lady who did my nails cut one of my fingers during the fill. A few days later the cut was swollen and infected which is just gross thinking about how many peoples hands their tools come in contact with and who knows how clean the tools are so I was a little freaked out and bummed because I went in to get pampered and to relax but that didn't happen. On top of that one of my nails broke a few days later which shouldn't happen considering I had acrylic plus gel polish which is supposed to last at least up to two weeks. I went back for a refund but they would only fix the nail that broke. Kathy the manager fixed my nail but she did a sloppy job with the polish and the nail was crooked. I wish I couldn've had a better experience here that the other reviews seemed to let on, but I'll just have to keep looking for a place that...
