The best vintage shop I’ve been too easily. I’ve visited a good amount of shops around the world from New York, LA, to Tokyo and Korea and what they have here is special. Every time I visit Seattle I’m sure to check out the barn because I know I’ll find something dope. The curation is impeccable with the owner having so much knowledge on individual pieces they carry. It made the clothes I bought feel more special and I always share the history of a pair of tree camo pants I picked up when complimented on it. You can definitely see the passion in what they’re doing. On top of the overall store the customer service was awesome and was helped in finding alternatives to things that didn’t fit just right as that’s usually the biggest issue I have shopping vintage. On top of that the price points are great they know what they have so there are things that will be pretty expensive but once you learn about the history and why they’re priced that way it’s very reasonable. When compared to other stores too they’re honestly on the cheaper end of the spectrum as well and there’s something for everyone. Definitely a must go to spot if you’re into vintage fashion or want some quality history in...
Read moreMy huasband and I are visiting from out of state and we’re SO happy to stumble across this rare gem! The owner, Josh, is the kindest soul and his team is just wonderful. My husband and I are both big people and we were thrilled to ACTUALLY HAVE OPTIONS that fit us! It is typically so hard to find vintage stores that have extended size items but we had no issues with this at all. I’m shocked to read reviews that aren’t plus size options in this store because that I was absolutely not our experience and my husband and I left with a great haul. Typically we would do a quick 5 minute turn around a store like this knowing nothing would fit us but we spent nearly two hours here today finding so much good stuff. Moreover, Josh was super helpful and attentive and paid attention to what we were looking at and searching for, and pulled out pieces in our size ranges to show us from both the floor and the back. This was such a happy and memorable experience for us and will definitely be a must- visit location the next time...
Read moreGreat vibes in this vintage store, with interior decor that even includes what looks like steel railings from a train trellis or something. The way this store is organized is really appealing -- the clothing and other items are well organized/categorized, and it doesn't smell like an attic. You can try items on, and if you're hungry, there's both a cafe and ice cream shop next door.
I'm not into vintage, so admittedly I'm not the right audience for this store. I went with my daughter, who's into vintage and bought a couple of items. Personally, the cost of some vintage gives me some sticker shock. But even so, this store has amazing variety, from men's cardigan sweaters (which I never see anywhere) to military gear to Filison bags to shop overalls and jeans, a whole wall of boots, and other items, like leather belts that say "Jim" or "John" -- there's lots to browse and get intrigued with here. Spend 30 minutes in this store at least once...
