This casino clearly caters to "black card" players, leaving the overall service experience sorely lacking.
While I appreciate the rewards for frequent play and the friendly staff at both the Killer Coffee Cafe and Journeys East, the sportsbook team’s attitudes and performances drastically diminish the overall experience. The rudeness and unhelpfulness of the sportsbook staff are truly frustrating.
On a quiet, early morning baseball game day, when the place is nearly empty with no lines and zero bodies at kiosks, it’s unacceptable that they aggressively and rudely mention the so-called "5-minute rule" while staff are more interested and preoccupied with their personal cell phones than assisting customers!
When it comes to wagering, my experience was equally disheartening.
They failed to honor a bet due to a player's injury (Early Exit policy) despite it being a documented policy in the DraftKings app. The house will NOT honor any DraftKings policies.
Good luck finding house rules or information as well; their 14-page policy document is intentionally convoluted, hard to locate on their website and challenging to navigate, making it a "read the fine print" trap for unsuspecting bettors.
Unlike DraftKings, which upholds its policies transparently and consistently, Tulalip Resorts appears more focused on maximizing profits at the expense of fair customer treatment especially for loyal and frequent bettors.
To avoid the headaches associated with betting on paper tickets—which provide no safety against unforeseen circumstances like player injuries, venue changes or weather issues—I strongly recommend using the DraftKings app. The app offers better security and assurance and you won’t suffer the unfair issues I faced with Tulalip Resorts. Plus, the DraftKings app includes bonuses, promos, money back bets and a slew of other betting perks.
I urge you—DO NOT BET ON THE HOUSE KIOSKS.
You’ll be giving away your money to the house, with service personnel that are rude, disingenuous, and indifferent to customer care.
Additionally, the venue lacks cleanliness; the restrooms aren’t maintained frequently enough, and I’m baffled by their decision to revert to outdated soda vending machines instead of continuing to offer a modern selection of zero-sugar drinks. The refusal to invest in updated amenities and products due to cost concerns is short-sighted and, frankly, very disappointing.
I genuinely believe this casino could improve significantly by prioritizing customer service and transparency.
For all these reasons, I’m forced to give them a 1 STAR rating. It’s time for them to reassess their approach for the sake of their best patrons'...
Read moreThe Tulalip Casino and Resort is a very classy place to go get your gamblin on! For many years, they have been smoke free inside; when they took smoking away, they redid all the surfaces and rooms so there's no trace of smoke smell left (trust me, my sinuses are highly sensitive to tobacco). The casino has hundreds of slot machines of various styles to cater to your personal fancy. They also have a central "pit" area of filled with many types of table games; various blackjacks, pokers, roulette wheels and weird games I've never heard of before. Surrounding the floor are a plethora of places to eat such as a pizza place, bars, coffee bars, Asian foods, steak, native foods, and, my favorite, the Draft sports pub (the chicken wings are HUGE with differing sauces and quantities) which has a huge TV that takes up an entire wall, many beers on tap and a full service bar (they make a great Lemon Drop!). In the north side of the casino you'll find draftkings sports betting to easily bet on your favorite sport via a machine or a betting window for more personalized service. Behind the windows are very helpful and friendly staff that will answer any sports questions you might have. After betting, you can sit in a raised area filled with huge screens on a wall showing different games and enjoy a drink from the nearby bar while watching your game. Right now (5/25) they are expanding the north side of the casino for more floorspace to put in more games of various kinds. The casino itself is decorated well inside with tribal art and very showy outside with a tribal lodge motif and waterfalls that are absolutely beautiful. You can park in the huge parking lots or drive to the front door for vallet parking. There are also quite a number of handicap parking spots close to the entrances. The whole place is handicap friendly. So when you feel like gambling, sports betting, eating some delicious foods or just walking through to get to the hotel part of the renjoy, drive past the huge orca sculpture foutain and come to the Tulalp Casino and enjoy.THE NORTH ENTRANCE IS FINALLY OPEN! This new addition has more slots and the North Bar. Walk in this entrance, make a left, and you are right at the draftkings sportsbook to place your sport wagers! The North Bar has great cocktails and talented barkeeps to serve you fresh drinks while you sit at the bar and using the optional draftkings app to...
Read moreWell to start out when we checked in the front desk clerk was not very helpful and was actually kind of rude to me. My wife asked me if the Draft room patio was the only place that we could smoke in the casino and I told her yes that was the only spot. The clerk cut me off by saying that no it was not. Then proceeded to say the same thing that I had just told my wife.
Anyway we got it straight after the clerk kept saying I was wrong when clearly I was not. We cleared that up and went to the room where the safe in the room would not work. My wife called security an they figured out that it was not functioning, so I had to get our valuables and put them in a bag and drive home and leave them there. They said that they would be back up to fix it and never showed back up. Then there was a housekeeper who repeatedly kept asking us if we were going to get checked out and it was not even noon yet it was 10:45. Checkout time is 12:00. My wife works graveyard and had to work on that evening at 5pm so she needed all the sleep she could, but was not able to get it due to housekeeping ringing the door bell multiple times. It was CONFUSING because some entrances wanted your ID and temperature, others would accept the hotel key for ID but did not want your temp. I can say that room service was pleasant and helpful, although expensive, but worth it. The only other problem was the internet. It said we were connected but ran slower than dial up and I tried both the WiFi and wired. Same results. Finally I had to hot spot with my phone to download the items I was getting off the internet. The worst part was that the pool and spa was closed due to COVID. It was a bummer to see the pool from our window but not be able to enjoy it. I am sadly disappointed. Me and my wife staying at the resort was supposed to be a gift from me to my wife cause she has always wanted to stay there but was never able to get a room cause there are never any available. It saddens me to see that my wife was disappointed as well with our stay. It was suppose to be a good experience and fun. Instead I think if I would of stayed at a Holiday Inn it would of been a better experience. So much thanks go out to your staff for making our stay as difficult and unpleasant as possible. They are currently doing new construction on the casino. They are adding additional gaming area on...
