I used to go to that bar pre-pandemic, 2010’s era. I am finally saying good-bye with good feedback. I liked the music. It had a relaxing atmosphere… not too much pressure. If you don’t feel like you belong, it feels like an embarrassing escape, but they do a good job. Not everyone likes bars with luxury. Look, I dated three different male customers, over time. They were an attractive crowd, but I wasn’t out of the closet yet, so I was just into the opposite gender. It was fun, a little bit rowdy, but it’s probably male oriented with mildly funny bar maiden jokes. Very lawful, fun to go to, but that’s basic stuff to me now. I was in my 30’s. Read moreThe best dive bar I've been to in Washington! There's a large area of people here, college age, middle aged trying to get out of the house, older patrons feeling them self, sports fans, bartenders getting off work from other bars, everything.
As soon as the jukebox came on everybody started singing, dancing even, especially the people that you would least expect would know a Nicki Minaj song.
The bartender, my goodness, what a gem. She had the best personality, she was so efficient, only ever had a smile and could totally hustle.
The drinks were strong and inexpensive. I recommend getting canned beers, or basic drinks, nothing on tap.

Read moreThis place is the loudest most obnoxious dive bar and seems the later it gets in the night the worst it is! There are literally people who live right next to it WITH CHILDREN who are trying to sleep that get up early for work/school and the staff do absolutely nothing to control it! You would think that they would do something about the noise out in the beer garden late at night and shut the door that faces where residence are later at night out of common courtesy! Wonder how many complaints the city gets from people who live...
