I recently became a single dad and moved to the area. Wanted to enjoy a meal out with my one year old daughter who was born premature. I walk in with the baby girl in her car seat and was asked how many were in our party. My response was "one plus a high chair please" and we were walked to a booth and brought a car seat sling. I asked again for a high chair and received a side eye look and they asked if I was sure. My response was "yes, my daughter is one year old and even though she's tiny, I'd like to feed her a quesadilla but she needs to be sitting instead of laying in a car seat." At that point, the sling was left at the table and the person walked away. Another lady came to the table with chips and salsa and commented on the baby so I reiterated my desire to have her seated in a high chair but that I was told "no". At that point, the first lady finally came with a high chair and clarified that she didn't tell me no but she just asked if I was sure.

At that point, I knew that I was sure that I didn't need their judgment and that being a single parent is hard enough without getting dirty looks; so we got up and left.

I will give one star because their food is delicious and I've been a fan of other jaliscos but this has definitely left me with a bad taste...

I really wanted to love this place as I live right by it & walk past it everyday. For one thing, is it only crazy to me that many Mexican restaurants in the Seattle area don't have queso dip?? How hard can that be to add that to the menu? That was number 1 disappointment here. 2nd they switched up servers on us. VERY slow service. I had to keep asking for things from other employees because our 2nd server just never came back to check on us. The fajita meat had some weird seasoning that I never had before & did not care for it. I would rate the food as okay. Service was really a zero. I mean he sure ran our check quick though. I took my friend & she ordered chicken fajitas & I ordered steak fajitas. Literally he gave us 4 tortillas (2 for each, ridiculous) & didn't bring those out until 10 minutes after we got the food. When he never came back I had to stop someone else & ask for more. The prices are way too high for mediocre food & bad service. I...

January 1st my Boyfriend and I stopped in for a late dinner. After waiting to be seated for an uncomfortable amount of time, I found a woman setting a table in the dining room. I asked "are you open"? She apologized for the wait, and motioned for us to follow her. Once seated she brought water, chips & salsa as well as the BEST Pico we had ever had! A tall man asked if we'd like something from the Bar? I ordered a Strawberry Margarita. We waited again, this time for a Menu & of course my Strawberry Margarita...long enough this time to have finished our chips and water, a first. I'll spare you the drama! Our meals were actually very good, I happened to catch the tall man's attention, reminded him of my drink, 3/4s of the way thru dinner I was served my Strawberry Margarita. In a hot glass! Bummed out about the poor service. I will share the experience of course. Not decided if we...

Seattle | Discovered a Hidden Gem Mexican Spot with Killer Drinks!

I ate here today for the first time and it was a great experience! The staff were nice, the service was good, the food was delicious and even for a lunch special it was a very generous serving while still for a lower price. The whole place was spotlessly clean, including their restroom! The decor was nice, and the music was just the right moderate volume and a good mix of Spanish language music. It's a huge restaurant with lots and lots of tables, it seems to be a popular place to eat, so it's good that it's big! The menu has a lot to choose from... If I lived closer I would go back more often to try more things! This was perfect for a lunch break driving north from SeaTac airport.

Very good food here. The table service is excellent. The older Managerial person came over when he was handing us food and had a pretty funny comedy routine, I wont spoil it but everyone who heard it laughs. Our waitress came by once or twice to check up on us which was pretty good timing, not bothersome. I had the beef fajitas and they came out sizzling and deliscious, plenty of food. My friend had the carne asada plate and that looked phenomenal, the meat just tore apart so easily. For a dessert I had the deep fried ice cream which was good. The tortilla bowl was pretty meh but the ice cream was delicious.
