Went there on Sunday Oct. 6th @ 8am on the eastern side on 1st Ave. Four cars in a row had their driver’s side window smashed in. Be careful of having valuables in view or at all in the car when you are parking during slower times in the morning or when it starts getting dark 🙏

Love this park, you have got to check out the purple beach tree, the one next to the feild which is the biggest one and the smaller one next to the sandbox, there are huge pin oak and Red oak trees along the street and huge sycamore trees, very well maintained but, the park dose have a lack of native plants, the only native plants in the park were the Bigleaf maple next to the pin oak trees and a few ferns, most of the trees were exotic some of the trees were the English oaks planted around the feild, the purple beach trees, the Red maple, The Linden trees along the street, the Red oak trees also along the street, the pin oak trees, the sycamore trees near the feild, the magnolia tree next to the feild and the Bigleaf maple tree along the street, very cool exotic trees, they are mostly decidous except the Huge holly tree next to the playground, i rate it 5 stars just because of the Variety of trees, Beeches, Lindens, Maples, Oaks, and Hollys but, if you come here you have got to check out the two purple...

As far as parks go this one has a good variety and is well maintained. There is a fun little section that has children's play houses with a few toys that remain at the playground. The space also has a couple grass fields for soccer, baseball, or general run around adventure. Finally, there is a larger space that is frequented by dog owners (who are usually responsible with poop.) Good community space, can recommend for all ages.

Only downside is parking as there is no dedicated area, rather parking residentially. This can cause a little congestion during summer and it's...

Well kept baseball field and fenced open grass area for soccer/kickball/football/etc. A nice place where the Community Center next door hosts sports camps and other fun activities and events. When not in use by the Community Center, it is nice area to toss frisbee or kick around a soccer ball with some friends or have a jog or morning stretch. Right by playground area as well equipped with swings, slides, jungle gym, sandbox and other...
