1.- The place is a bit hidden, you need a bigger sign. 2.- The music is very loud. I was talking to the girls and they did not listen to me. I had to shout for them to listen to me. 2, - in most restaurants of this type the chips do not charge them and here they have a cost I asked for sauce for my chips and I had to go for it and other white people were taken to their table. That's what it's called. 3.- The tacos al pastor were not very good and they only serve you 3 and they do not give you rice or beans. The tacos had very little flavor but the meat was very dry and the tortillas very thin and I had to eat the tacos with a fork. I've visited some restaurants like this and they only make food to please the white race and since they have a name or because they are in a white area they do not pay attention to the food and they charge it dearly. I hope and this criticism will help them to improve and not follow the path...

Most disgusting experience today with person in charge, I walked in with my spouse and we politely asked if we could order a dish with them and order a dish from the place next to this, waiter said YES NO PROBLEM, and when I just sitted with my order from the place next to this one, a mexican angry guy (owner or manager) came in running and told me that was not possible and insisted I was not allowed to eat in that table. I explained we were told otherwise by the waiter and still he insisted. we were seated on their tables over the road, but that still made no difference to this jackass. I suggest we don't support this type of behaviour. Unacceptable mistreating good willing customers, cause I even payed the food we ordered from this place AFTER the...

Delicious. If you ask my friends they’ll tell you I’m the biggest taco critic. I lived in San Diego for 4 years, where the only place you can get a bad taco is at the Taco Bell. Every Mexican spot there is authentic and delicious. Anywhere else that I traveled outside of San Diego had sub par “mid” trash tacos. Until today. This place has some delicious tacos. Tortillas made from scratch, delicious meat. Awesome strong drinks. I’m 3 drinks in writing this. These guys and girls in this restaurant work hard and really care about what’s going into your food. It’s a sight to see and I love it.

I normally don’t leave review but after what I witnessed and tasted I had to. This little taco spot deserves more recognition.

Highly...

I will start out by saying Mexican is not my favorite food. But this restaurant is delicious. Great place for lunch. I thought the portion size was perfect and the salsa bar gives a few different salsa options. Staff is friendly and quick to greet and answer questions. I will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. The outside looks dark and uninviting, but once you walk through the door, you are greeted by some very interesting pictures on the wall and a very friendly local feel. If you are looking for Mexican food this is a fantastic option.

Quaint little hole in the wall with great flavors from Oaxaca. Very much a local fav vibe by the amount of traffic coming in and out. Ordered the Pozole and it was loaded with intense flavor and the pork was super tender. I’m a mezcal fan so they offered some good mezcals to sample. Ordered the Rey Campero flight and it didn’t disappoint. The tostadas with avocado salsa were a great appetizer. Light but could be a meal in itself. Our server was great but it was a bit clunky getting seated and our host didn’t say much. Still worth a visit.

I was originally disappointed that I couldn't get in to get pasta next door, but who asks you to reserve a bar spot anyway. They suggested for an open bar to come here and all became right with the world for the moment. A beer and some out of this world mole over chicken and with rice filled the void I was going to stuff with over priced pasta. Someone, rolling out, pressing and heating up tortillas by hand one by one for each order remind me of New Mexico a little.
