Bayview-Kinnear Park — Attraction in Seattle

I've lived in Seattle for almost 15 years and had never gone on the Bayview-Kinnear Park loop trail before until this past month. There are lots of lovely spots to hang out and just enjoy nature. The walk along the coast by the lighthouse is also very serene and peaceful.

We ran into a lot of joggers and runners during our stroll which was really great. The trail is relatively flat except some stairs to get down to the beach area.

From the west side of Kerry Park take the steps that go down to the next street...part of the way down you can enter into the first level of Bayview Park which has a really nice playground . Then take the same steps the rest of the way down and you find a lower level of this park with a field, basketball hoop, benches and a slide. It's a special little neighborhood park....
