Very disappointed with my last two transactions with King's. I ordered a rope and asked for a rawhide Honda to be added to it. The woman I spoke with said they come with one. Rope comes in the mail and there is a rawhide burner on the rope, as usual, but not a rawhide honda. I had to call back, pay for the honda and additional shipping and have it put on separately. Next time, I order a rope, ensuring that I actually get the rawhide honda put on this time, 2 and a half weeks before an event that I needed the rope at. Two weeks from the order time I call because I still have not received my rope. They had still not sent the order out. When I asked why they said they didn't have the rope in stock. If someone is expecting an order, it is common business practice to notify them if it is not going to be delivered at an expected time. She convinced me to change my order to another rope they had in stock, ensuring that it would go out that week. Well one month from my original order date, my rope finally came. When called again last week to see where it was, the woman was not helpful and seemed to care very little. So in the future, I will happily take my $130 elsewhere to get quality ropes and...

Do not purchase from this company - worst customer service experience I have ever received in my life. They told me they were shipping out my hat, and I still hadn't received it three weeks later. I contacted the company and they told me they forgot to place the order. I understand - people make mistakes. But, they didn't even apologize or do anything to try to fix the error. They sent the hat out and even charged me extra in shipping to expedite the shipping since they forgot to place the order in the first place! Any other company would have waived the shipping fee since it was their mistake, or at least apologized for not placing the order. Not even a simple "I'm sorry!" I even sent them another email saying I was very disappointed in their customer service, and I got no response. Shows that no one in this company cares about how they treat their customers. I will never purchase from this...

This museum of horse gear and the making of such is absolutely fantastic. You have to appreciate the talent, skill, and vision to design a saddle, bridle, breast plates, belts, etc. Brought back teenage memories of showing horses and the tooled saddle I owned. I do miss riding horses. I miss the smell of leather and saddle soap, the jingle of spurs, the creaking sound that leather makes when your in the saddle. Humm. This is what I'm talking about World Museum of Mining. King's Saddlery Museum doesn't even have world in the title and they have saddles from other parts...

Interesting store and an amazing, must see museum. Expecting a small collection in the museum, we were awed by the number of saddles, including some very old ones, photos and other historic items. Be sure to look for the "The Gathering 1883" photograph which claims to include Wyatt Earp, Butch Cassidy, Doc Holiday, Teddy Roosevelt and others. Is it real or is it a hoax?? We spent about 45 minutes in the museum but plan to return as there was just so much to see. Highly recommend if you are in the area. They do request a $2/pp donation which is a steal.

What a great place and quality merchandise. The staff was very friendly! They helped my wife size a hat she had purchased elsewhere and cleaned it up a bit. I purchased some fun items only found in western shops and a vest you would never see on the crazy 'left' coast. A concealed carry vest for my pistol that has a great western feel. We then went to their saddle museum which was a real look back into history. It was not only saddles, but all types of western gear - antique guns, wagons, clothes, etc. Well worth the time and it is free!
