Walked in and immediately found exactly what I wanted. The place was empty of customers at the time so all salespeople were at the ready near the front. Keith approached me and was very helpful with placing my order but told me the furniture came with a protection plan and could be financed for 4 years. I was sent to the back service desk to complete the order. The older woman there seemed snippy and I had to pull information out of her. I asked her about the 4 year financing and she looked shocked and said, “no we do 24-48 months.” …. 48 months = 4 years but okay lol. Then she had me start signing things to take out the credit card for their store and the first thing she wanted me to sign was to decline the protection plan. I asked why I was declining it and she said “yes” … I said “why am I declining it if it comes with the furniture?” She just stared at me and I said, “Does it not come with the furniture?” She said no. I said that was odd bc Keith said it came with it and she again just stared at me. I said fine and declined it bc it was more expensive than I cared for. So I waited like 25 mins for her to take care of everything and then she handed me my receipt but none of the paperwork for the credit card I had just opened with them. When I asked her for it she said I didn’t need it. That’s fine but I want proof of what’s happened here since I just spent $1500 with them. She huffily said she could make me a copy and I said I can just take a picture of it if that’s okay. She handed it to me and I took the picture and left. Read moreBeing very generous giving them 2 stars here.. Ever since we put our ticket in for our purchases (DEC 2020) it has been a HEADACHE. First bump in the road.. they brought us the wrong bed frame.. we went in the following day and ended up switching bed sets because the one we originally ordered wouldn't be in for awhile and the more expensive one we switched to was in stock.. great! Well they forgot to cancel the bed frame and they still brought it to our house.. waste of a trip of their part. In this trip, the brought our couch which was broken and ripped. We got the difference between the two bed sets the closet we can ($159 difference). Fast forward to the last 2 weeks.. we have spent maybe 5 hours in Ashely Furniture trying to find out where our money went.. we are missing nearly $400! We paid the difference of the bed sets cash and even some extra therefore our financed amount shouldn't have changed.. which wasn't reflected on our account. They charged us multiple $99.99 delivery fees and then they have the audacity to tell us "They are tired of making multiple deliveries to our house" They also delivered the wrong coffee table and still haven't gotten the new one.. Once we get the rest of our things and our money back I will never be shopping here. In total, we have been in this store nearly 8 times to fix things that they messed up.. and I guess this will continue until we get our money back and the rest of our furniture. Not to mention the manager from the other Ashley home store in bossier called us and helped us even though she had nothing to do with us...
Read moreI have NEVER had such a horrible shopping experience. Purchased a piece of furniture Feb 28th and we still don't have it. I have been outright lied to and given every excuse in the book. There was no offer of compensation for the inconvenience, I had to ask. What I was then told was not even considerable. It was a slap in the face. When we purchased the furniture we were told that Saturday shipping could be done, now they are backing out on that too. Let me say just once more for the record THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST PURCHASING EXPERIENCES EVER! I will be contacting anyone and everyone I can such as news media, BBB, every social media I can think of, every review site, etc. to report this company. I will NEVER deal with Ashley again after this ordeal. My suggestion is that you shop elsewhere. UPDATE: I have spoken with Mr. Robinson, the store manager and he has taken appropriate steps to correct the issues and make up for the inconvenience. I changed my rating based on his ability to provide an amazing customer experience. As a matter of fact my faith in Mr. Robinson has convinced me to give the store another try with my future furniture purchases. Customer service is what makes the difference. I am not a "customer is always right " kind of people but there is a right way to treat others. Mr. Robinson is well versed in that. Oh and one more thing, I forgot to follow advice I regularly give.
