I’ve visited this church multiple times with my husband, and I’d like to share a few thoughts. I also attended the women’s group, which I highly recommend. It was uplifting and a wonderful way to connect with other women in the church.
Pastors Ben and Mark were absolutely wonderful. My husband and I both felt spiritually challenged, and we appreciated the depth in their sermons.
Unfortunately, our experience with Pastor Phil was very different. While I understand that many people connect with and enjoy his style, it comes across as distracting and inappropriate. Just as his messages would begin to dive deeper, he would insert shallow jokes that felt irreverent to the setting. His delivery style often came across as disrespectful, and I was surprised that the church leadership and elders would encourage or support it. Thankfully the Pastor’s rotate so it’s not Phil every week, but it definitely was hard to fully get submerged and plunged into this Church as we desired, as the we would dread coming on the Sundays he would preach.

Read moreMe and my fiancé have been attending the church since she came home in December from a bad accident that left her disabled. I am now her caregiver and am in the process of getting paid to do so because she needs 24 hour care. In the mean time she is also in the middle of going thru the struggles of collecting ssi for her injuries. While this is all taking place we have no income and are getting ready to loose everything. Our insurance that we need to get her to doctors appointments and therapy. And all of our belongings that we put into a storage because we were loosing our place to live. We had asked the church to help us get our belongings and help with our car insurance so we don’t loose everything we have. They said because they haven’t seen us in the last few weeks due to us watching online because my wife’s injuries that they could not help us. So if we went there and watched in person they could help but because her accident and injuries and being not able to attend in person they won’t help us. Wow that’s exactly what god wants from his people. Not a good Christian community...
