I have come to this location two times in several months for various bulbs for my vehicle and each time I was given the wrong information. Most recently, last weekend, I needed something to pass inspection, again, the part recommended was incorrect. How does this happen when there is literally a database right in front of you? The young girl helping us reassured us this was correct after we told her what happened the last time. Both times I asked the associates if they needed to see my vehicle to confirm and they confidently declined. I have now spent close to $100 which they won't refund without a phone number or receipt. This is 2024. How is this place operational?
UPDATED 8/14/24: Added a star because after my review, a manager did reach out to me within a day. I honestly did not have time to reply, but was impressed with the responsiveness. I also fortunately found my receipt from my the second and most expensive purchase several weeks later, and WAS actually able to return those bulbs. (The first purchase I had to trash as I made the mistake of opening it and tossing the receipt, being optimistic the correct part was recommended the first time.)
I did notice when I returned the sign on the door stating no returns had also been removed. Not sure if this had anything to do with it, but it is still insane to me that was even a business practice. When I explained the return to the associate, he didn't question me per se...but he looked up my vehicle again with what I had said I needed which was a fog light for my Subaru, and then showed me the screen, which did in fact, display the incorrect product- the product that Mr. Tire sent me right back across the parking lot to exchange for the correct one that they had to write down and I had to ask for specifically. This tells me that their directory is either not accurate or associates aren't trained in searching correctly. Hopefully they continue to work on things here. This is actually my first ever Google review. I figured after 3 issues in a row I needed...
Read moreNot impressed. Called up and ordered a distributor. Asked them several times to clarify if the part included the oil pump drive shaft. I could tell the guy on the phone was rather young which lead me to be a little apprehensive about the order. After assuring me several times that the oil pump drive shaft was included I show up to the store the next day only to find out that it was not included. Needless to say this prevented me from finishing my project that day. Furthermore I ask for a set of exhaust manifold bolts... he gets on his computer looks them up. Rudely toned- "NOPE DONT HAVE IT CANT GET THEM." I go back towards the oil to get break in fluid and wouldn't you know it... sitting right there in the isle. Exhaust manifold bolts in stock and ready to go out the door. Now here's the kicker. Mike, another guy that works behind the counter... incredibly rude, unapologetic and really full of himself. He helped me get the oil pump shaft ordered but he really liked to go on about how many trophies his cars won and how he's had to throw trophies out yet here he is screwing up orders at an auto parts store. These people are rude, and instead of stopping and thinking about what parts might be on hand they go straight to the computer and if it's not working the give up immediately....
Read moreI went to the store to return 2 sets of rotors and brake pads that weren’t needed when replacing the brakes on my car. As you may or may not know these are extremely heavy! A man (not a gentleman) employee was standing out front smoking a cigarette watching me try to get these from my back seat to carry in the store. I dropped my keys and wallet trying to open the door while balancing what felt like 50 pounds on my knee bending down to reach my stuff. This man Wyre? something walked in a second or so behind me, comes to register I’m at, tells me I cannot return them without my visa! Ok totally fine...however the same jerk that watched me struggle inside, now is watching me struggle right back out? I WOULD BE ASHAMED IF HE WERE MY SON OR COWORKER! Not only is this man lacking common courtesy to others...he is a very poor example of customer service for the store all around. From smoking close the entrance within public view/smell, to a pig headed lack of regard for anyone. INCLUDING HIS OWN DIGNITY AND SELF RESPECT. I am the first to post a positive when I see one... Management needs to take a...
