Five Guys — Restaurant in Shrewsbury Township

Came here on Sunday, March 24th at 1 PM. Ordered one Double Cheeseburger and received it 10 min later. Upon inspection the burger was a light grey color and not cooked well. It appeared pink on the inside as well. I went inside and asked for it to be remade because it was rare. The lady behind the counter have me a weird look and said ok we will make another. Then I wait 30 MIN for a replacement. I watched as they took another 20 New orders before remaking mine. Why does the staff NOT understand that if someone's burger is made wrong they get priority and should have their food remade ASAP. Not have to wait ANOTHET HALF HOUR. Why did the cook serve 2 patties that were barely cooked ???? Light grey color on patties is unacceptable. Especially when this place charges $15 for one double cheeseburger. I also was standing next to another lady who had received an undercooked burger. She said she had been waiting so long her family finished eating so she asked the manager for a refund. What a total disgrace. It's common sense !!!! Fix the food that served wrong ASAP‼️ don't make redos wait all...

Usually not a bad experience at five guys. But tonight was a different story! We had 3 separate orders as we were paying separate. 2 online and one in store. We got the first two fairly quickly but then after taking them to the car and coming back in for the last one, they claimed they had already given us the order. Mind you, we had a hot dog, a grilled cheese, and a burger so it's not like we could've mistaken one for the other. Then they asked us for the receipt and to see our other bags so we had to go back out and get them and show them our receipt! So they said they would "remake" the burger even though it was never made in the first place. We get the bag...NO FRIES. At this point we had already waited over 30 mins and couldn't wait any longer so we left. The food was good as usual, but then my friend who ordered the hot dog ended up getting sick and puking! Now I am questioning if they put something in our food since they had to remake it. Poor show, five guys. I may not return after this degrading...

We thought we just wanted some of the highly rated fries before going home to fix dinner... one whiff of the quality beef cooking, though, and we were done! Delicious double-patty hamburgers with pretty much any topping you want generously applied on a good but not oversized bun so the meat really stands out. Cooked to order, so hot and fresh every time. And the fries? Real potatoes (with daily sourcing notification) perfectly salted and a nice range of crispy done-ness. Try a little cup of ketchup with malted vinegar for dipping. A small order was just right for two unless you're really starving! Unlike many of the fast food competitors you can still get a real milkshake here too. A really good one! Tried a lemon Coke this time, don't know what they were thinking at the factory... As always, peanuts are available for while you wait. Enjoy but I've learned to go easy to save room for the main event. Friendly staff, clean if somewhat sterile environment and although not inexpensive you definitely get value...
