Public Beach Access 13 — Attraction in Siesta Key

The beach is a lot smaller this end of the Key. A nice beach but the ocean front hotels cordon off very large areas of the beach exclusively for their guest. Typical only 1/4 of the chairs an umbrellas they set up were even used! What a waste! We were forced to find spots in between their markers. Our hotel was just off the beach, just a short walk down point of rocks road. Siesta Key Inn - a fantastic place to stay! This so called resort is over-priced, doesn't provide any resort like service. It doesn't provide beach chairs, you have to rent it. No room service either. All, we got was two towels as a part of room service. On the top, they charge you $40 resort fee. If you are used to resorts in Cancun, Punta Cana etc., this resort will surely disappoint you!

This is a great spot to access the beach near the point of rocks. Mainly from walking or biking etc as there is zero parking for cars and no parking on the streets since it's really a residential area and signs everywhere that it's prohibited. .It's a great spot though. I highly recommend...
