There is something to be said these days for customer service and Silver City is incredible. from the moment you walk in the door. They aim to please. Debra greeted me and made sure I was well taken care of. She answered many questions and the phrase “we can’t / don’t do that here, never left her lips”. In fact, they are so helpful that I came for 1 problem that I was sure could not be fixed (as I had brought it to a few other locations and turned me away saying it was impossible) and ended up working on 2 others and talking about a couple future projects. The initial reason I sought out Silver City was for a Tissot watch I loved and had purchased almost 20 years ago and is no longer being produced. Jorge did the impossible plus. He managed to track down pieces internationally to make it come back to life! He was so thorough and contacted me to keep me aware of the procedure and time. He even did some modifications to the face that had worn down. I can’t even imagine anyone else agreeing to the work he did. He also enlarged a family ring that I had also brought to other jewelers who said they wouldn’t touch, for fear that the stones would pop off. He fixed them and the turnaround time was quick. Now I am working with Monica to design a ring that I had in my head for years. When I showed it to other jewelers, they could not understand what I was trying to do and usually passed up the project. I don’t think Silver City knows the word “NO”. For them it’s “how can we help and when do you need it”. This place is a truly a gem (no pun intended). Put their information in gold stars in your address book, your Rolodex or whatever system you use as you’ll want to remember them! There is a reason they continue to get 5 star ratings! Oh! I've been working fulltime+ since January and haven't had much time to spend with my best friend Suzanne - her birthday is coming up and she's gotten me beautiful jewelry, so I wanted to get something special for her too. But our usual jewelry store in Englewood on Dearborn St. closed after Hurricane Milton. I thought "I know I don't really like those stores at the mall or at St. Armands" so looking online, I found Silver City. They're in Siesta Key 1 block south of the corner of Stickney Point & Midnight Pass. You know - the little mall you better not park at to go to the beach! I took off work early for my shopping trip and as soon as I got in the store, I knew I was at the right place. I know everyone has different tastes in jewelry, but for me, it's silver. There are SO many choices of beautiful silver jewelry and beach-themed and colored gemstones and semi-precious stones, you will not believe it. I was immediately helped by Suzanne (yes, same name as my friend), quickly found the perfect gift, and they not only provided a beautiful gift box, they put her name on it in calligraphy! Silver City makes its own jewelry and they have their own Siesta Key stone, which is quartz treated to create the beautiful blue and green colors of the Gulf. They also have gorgeous pendants made from Siesta Key sand and other semiprecious stones or mother of pearl. Most, but not all, of the jewelry is beach themed and it's not just the "usual" stuff. I think there would be a unique and well-made, high-quality piece for just about anybody, especially those vacationing at Siesta Key or elsewhere in our area in Gulf Coast FL ... we loved Englewood Jewelers but have found our new place for...

Their Siesta Key Watercolor Gemstone is gorgeous!! All the pieces they make are so amazing. Besides the jewelry is about the service I just experienced: I recently purchased a beautiful bracelet for my daughter in law that I brought to her on Mother's Day, in a different state. It was way too big on her but she said she really loved it! I was so disappointed and wasn't sure how I could make this right. I contacted the store and had the best experience communicating with them, and was offered the solution that they would make it smaller, to the size she was requesting for her wrist, if I sent it back to them. They are also going to put on a different type of clasp. Today I got a call that my package was delivered back to them, as I requested that they do. They made sure we had the same details of how to fix it as when we spoke earlier. I have no doubt that I will get this back and it will make a stunning showing on the recipient's wrist, as all their pieces do so well. Once you stop in the store, you will have a difficult time making decisions of what to get yourself, as well as your lucky loved ones!
