A La Mode — Attraction in Sioux City

I live in Colorado but was visiting my elderly mother this May. I've been shopping at A La Mode for several years and have always loved the store and its selection. I recently heard it had changed ownership and was excited to stop in and see what was new.

I made a purchase of over $100 and asked the new owner at checkout to check my rewards points, as I knew I had accumulated several hundred. She took my name and quickly told me I had no points, which I found very confusing.

Later that day, I received an email from A La Mode confirming that I had 709 points. I called the store and spoke with the owner again. She told me I could use my points on a future visit. When I asked how many points were needed for a $10 discount, she was reluctant to answer. After pressing further, she finally said it was 250 points, then vaguely mentioned she should probably check her system to see if it was working correctly. However, she never offered to adjust my recent purchase or invite me back for a correction.

This was very disappointing and not the kind of service I would expect, especially from a new owner hoping to retain long-time customers. Unfortunately, this experience has left a poor impression, and I won’t be shopping at A La Mode again—either in...

I ❤️🥰❤️🥰 this Boutique❣️ So much GrEaT, reasonable, and unique items. Their Sweet Grace products are an ABSOLUTE “must have purchase” item. I believe I bought 1-2 of every available item. The scent is “Heavenly.” Every ONE who has come to my home since my purchases, comment immediately about “W🥰W, what’s that smell, it’s AMAZING!” The ONLY downside … I’m ADDICTED! 🥰 And the “quick peak” I made regarding the clothes = very CUTE! If you are looking for a fun, unique place to get your clothing, accessories, purses..This place is the best in the area. No other boutique in town like A la Mode. Very knowledgable and courteous staff. Their slimming tanks are a must have. One of a kind pieces.
