The food was fantastic, but the service was not. We ordered our two subs and had no problem. We added two drinks to make them meals and it was after this that we started having issues.
I drink unsweetened tea. I don't care for pop and absolutely despise sweet tea. As I was filling up my drink cup with unsweetened tea it ran out. So I go tell one of the workers and she said "Oh we have sweet tea. It's practically the same thing. I don't want to make any more unsweetened tea because we're about to close." This was just over an hour from closing time. Obviously not the brightest crayon in the box...
I said, "I won't touch the stuff. Is it possible to get a refund for a smaller drink cup since mine could only be filled half way." She first said yes that she can do that. Then she had to ask another person if they knew how to do a refund. No one out of the five employees there knew how to do it. Another employee said just make the tea. The first employee replied that she didn't know how to make tea. They lack training here, big time.
They offered a free sub card, and of course, IT'S EXPIRED. They said come back and we'll have no problem giving it to you. I told them that I don't live in town and was only here for biker nights.
After about 10 minutes of squabbling, they finally just made the tea!! Then one of the employees shouted at us, "The tea will be really hot because we have to use hot water to make it." Really? No crap. Hence the name Brewed Tea.
As the tea brewed every employee came over and said, "Okay, the tea is just about done." "Okay, the tea is done for you." Thank you for telling me but I understood the first person telling me.
I would gladly go back to this location if the managers work on training the employees and the employees work on their people skills. But, I highly recommend the subs. They...
Read moreI went to Firehouse Sub yesterday on my way to work. I ordered the Italian sub with no lettuce, no provolone cheese, add pickles and jalapeños. I thought I made myself perfectly clear to the young man who took my order. He read back to me what I had ordered, word for word. When I was at work on break, I opened up the container that my sub was in and instantly noticed there was lettuce in my sub. I specifically told the young man, no lettuce and no provolone cheese, I told him that I would like pepperjack cheese instead of provolone cheese and he said, that would be no problem. I was instantly not happy with my sub. I ate only a little bit of it because I was hungry. The when I was eating the sub, I find out that they had put, provolone cheese in the sub and not, pepper jack cheese that I had asked for. I only took a few bites and did not enjoy the sub because it was not made like I told the young man how I wanted my sub. I threw the rest of the sub in the trash and was instantly in a bad mood and hungry for the rest of my shift. I tried calling Firehouse Sub many times today to talk with a manager there about the sub I had ordered yesterday and let them know that it was made wrong and find out if they would make this right. I am going to go there this afternoon and talk with a manager and explain the sub and find out why no one answered the phone. I called about 8 times and no one ever answered the phone and there was no way for me to leave a message. My hope is when I go there this afternoon that they make this right for me. And the phone thing, who knows, maybe their phone doesn't work. I will let them know about...
Read moreI come here a lot for work. but today was an awful experience, I placed an online order at 9am for 11am pickup- 7 sandwiches and 1 salad. I show up right before 11am, told the lady behind the counter that I was here to pick up a online order, knowing I was going to have to wait since I was early. She was very rude and said that I was gonna have to wait a bit because she had a bunch of cater orders. So I sat down and waited, 2 other people came in and ordered and got their food and left. it is now 1130 and I went up to ask how much longer it would be for my order, she again said that I was gonna have to wait she was almost done with the cater boxes. when I finally got my order about 12pm. got back to my office and 1 sandwich was missing, had to go to get it. When I went in another lady spoke to me and I told her what happened and she got me the sandwich right away. Not sure if it is new management or what. But they need to do a better job at customer service. None of the regular people I would see there were there.
