I’ve been going to Panera since it opened. It has gone through a few managers over that time. I’ve had mostly great experiences, food and coffee. Today was an experience that was truly disappointing. First, when I arrived, the main doors were locked. I had to pound on the doors to get someone’s attention. The newest manager opened the door and let me in. She didn’t know how to unlock the doors. So, I grabbed a floor mat and wedged it in the doorway to allow other customers to go inside. Once inside, no one was at the register to take my order. After I got my coffee and sat down, my friends at my table told me the manager was denying them their free bagel. As they were telling me this story another regular came in to get coffee. She selected Hazelnut coffee and sat down. She immediately realized the Hazelnut coffee was in fact tea. She then had to wait several minutes to get Hazelnut coffee put in place. Then, more regulars arrived to purchase coffee and soufflés for breakfast, but there were no soufflés at all. I have also noticed since getting a new manager, the doors have been locked two other times, and the cafe is not clean. Dirty floors and tables. It pains me to leave this negative review, but Panera is getting worse since this new manager arrived. I really hope it changes soon, or else I will have to start going to another coffee shop for my...
Read moreWe've gone to Panera for years at this location specifically and it used to be our favorite. We would get both big and small orders and never had any notable issues, food was always good, service was great. I'm not sure what has changed but the last five times in a row that we have gone they have messed up our order, left out items, given the wrong item, or on our most recent visit (2/26/24) completely forgot a sandwich. I understand that accidents happen which is why we kept going anyways, but it's become a habit at this point. There appears to be no quality control, and little to no remorse for mishaps. I will say, on this incident the manager that assisted my husband was very kind and did correct it the third time but the initial people weren't very helpful or apologetic. Arguably Panera is not a cheap food option, they're higher end pricing as far as convenience foods or comparable options. However, we still aren't expecting perfection, we're just expecting to get what we pay for, especially considering the price and how expensive EVERYTHING is in this economy. Hopefully something changes...
Read moreTerrible service tbh. Good food and smoothies but like, the waitress took about 30 seconds to put every individual thing in and asked me about three times what drink I wanted. When we asked how big the sandwiches were she just kinda paused and then said she didn’t know. She told us Kettle Cooked chips were “Cattle chips” as if we knew what she was talking about. She didn’t explain they were potato chips, only cattle chips. She didn’t clarify the apple was a whole apple and everything just kind of was a mess. They told us after we ordered my boyfriends sandwich that they didn’t have avocodo for the sandwich WE ORDERED. They then asked what other sandwich we wanted as if we knew the entire menu. I asked what they had and he repeated what my boyfriend ordered. They also announced to the world that they were out of bananas. They yelled it. Then shortly after the yelling of the lack of bananas, we heard a BUNCH of dishes fall. Only good thing was the food quality and the manager lady asking my boyfriend if he wanted a free pastry...
