My husband and I first visited Roche winery in the early 90's when we lived in Detroit. On a yearly basis, we would order a case of the tamerex wine to remind us of the good time we had back then. We sat outside because it was a nice cool day and sitting by the fire with some red wine sounded right up our alley. Our sommelier was very nice and informative and we both got a Reserve tasting flight. We both really liked their pinot's and their Genevieve varietal.
If your ever in the area I would highly recommend stopping by. we went there on a weekday but I can see where they would be packed after normal business hours and on the weekends due to tourism travel so plan and make reservations...
