Summer Vine — Local services in Sonoma

Worst place I visited in Sonoma. I was looking at a cookbook called "Cooking for two" and was about to take it over to the cash register and buy it when I got a txt message from my friends still having brunch across the street. I replied to the txt and kept looking at the book. One of the employees rushed over to me as aggressively asked me to put my phone away. She said I could not take pictures in the store without permission. I told her I was just texting my friends. She said she was sick of people "photographing her recipe books". She was livid and very rude. I showed her my pics to prove to her I was innocent and told her I had no intention to photograph her books. She said she didn't about my pictures.

It was amazing to see this kind of behavior. I had NEVER EVER in my life been treated this way. She refused t apologize and walked away. I am sure the people around us were as confused as I was with the whole situation. Is this the way they treat tourists?

I would say stay away from this place unless you want to risk the wrath of their iPhone fearing...
