Overpriced for what you get. I paid $12.43 which only included the large sandwich. It tasted pretty ok for what I’ve come to expect lately and there wasn’t anything crucially wrong with the food itself. But I’m docking two stars, one for value, and one for portion size. Even three stars seems a stretch though given there are just much better food places out there for the price these days. Here’s the thing; I used to eat here once a week years back, and for $9 you could get their large sandwich, included 2 sauces, and a drink. Fast forward and their bread shrunk, it’s no longer overflowing with meat and cheese (most of my sandwich was peppers), they are stingy with their sauce cups so you have to pay extra for the 2 sauces that used to come with the large, and no drink for almost $4 more. It left me with the feeling of paying full price for a half full bag of chips. For $13, I could have doubled both the standard offering of meat and cheese on a footlong sandwich from Subway and still gotten chips and a drink for under that price (Food chain argument aside). 🤷🏻‍♂️ I used to come here for the flavor and the quality, but I feel like even the flavor has been mediocre lately. What’s been every week for lunch has now turned to once or twice a year, and it’s honestly not something I even regret at this point. It’s become completely forgettable and underwhelming. It’s just not worth the price they are asking. What a shame.

DP Cheesesteaks is a no-nonsense restaurant, which I appreciate when it comes to cheesesteaks. The menu is straightforward, perfect for novices in the art of the Philadelphian-born sandwich. I ordered the large Traditional Steak, and it was good. The jalapeno sauce is great (not spicy at all if that concerns you). Service was friendly, and there are plenty of seats for the traffic this place gets. They have Birch Beer, which I didn't try but seemed to really matter to those I was with. When it comes to cheesesteaks, Moochie's is more my style, but it comes at a higher price point and different vibe altogether. DP is very reasonably priced, makes good food, and will feel inviting and familiar to those in the Mountain West. I'd recommend giving DP a try, especially if you've never had a cheesesteak.

I've been getting food from this place for several months, and the cheese steaks have always been pretty decent. I placed an order earlier tonight for delivery though, and I ordered the cream cheese steak. What I got was NOT a cream cheese steak. It was cream cheese and I don't know what else mashed onto bread. I should have specified that I wanted some steak with my cream cheese and bread, because this thing looked absolutely atrocious. I didn't even eat it, because I could feel sickness seeping off of this thing. This was hands down probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had.

Great food. I took my family there to eat, we got the bleu cheese, traditional, cherry pepper and modified bleu. The flavors were great. Awesome bleu flavor, nice bite, cheese was perfectly melted and the steak was the perfect texture and flavor. I loved the cherry pepper flavor, great balance of sweet, tang, and spice. We were planning on getting combos and drinks and eating in, but the place didn't look that clean. It was a bit windy and blustery that night, so there was some leaves and debris that had blown in through the door, okay. I'll give him a pass for that. The strip mall outside was pretty filthy as well. All kinds of napkins and trash all over the place. Okay, they probably don't have a lot of control over that either. The thing that killed the deal for us, was the tables and chairs in the restaurant. My wife noticed many of the tables hadn't been cleaned properly. There was still actual physical dried junk on the table. I happened to sit down at a random table and scraped off a bunch of stuff with my fingernail. Then I noticed a few other tables that were in the same situation. So, the food is great, service was pretty good, but I think I'll stick to take out...
