If your in a nearby hotel make sure you ask if they have free beach passes otherwise they want $8 a head at the gate. Nice small beach though with nearby rentals. One tip...tahoe sand is NOT like regular sand. I had no clue. That is until our feet felt like they were being rubbed raw lol! The grains are more like small pebbles. I recommend wearing sandals or water shoes just in case. I dont have sensitive feet and it still hurt...a lot! There is a nice area in the water that is safe for swimming. It is blocked off so boats can not enter. Grab your sunblock and go check it out. Nice clean water too!

Great place to hang out in South Lake Tahoe . You can sit on the bench and breath fresh air . The view is great and the color of water like emerald ! You can see people sailing by or parasailing . A lot of motor boats are in this area . There is a parking spot less than 50 feet away which allows you to park your vehicle for $18 and take your boat under the road directly into the lake which makes it easy for people who like boating ! You can also find lime motorized scooters around which is fun to travel with here .

Locals and tourists both can enjoy the beautiful views and picnic tables for a relaxing afternoon. Easy access to the beach and pier make Lakeview Commons a nice place to visit. The water is pretty shallow out to about 70 years great place to walk up and down the beach, launch a paddleboard into the lake etc., pretty busy spot but lots of spots are busy in Lake Tahoe.

Lakeview Commons is one of the beautiful beaches in South Lake Tahoe. There is a space for easy picnics, barbecues. You will be happy with neighbors like gulls, squirrels and many other cute birds. While you enjoy the beautiful lake and the snow covered mountains as a background for photography. If you enjoy cycling this is a great stoping point.

Fun quick stop with bathrooms nearby. Very calming and peaceful. Be careful when icy though as several people slipped including myself Haha use the handrails though seriously Edit: came for my birthday in mid July 2020 and the water was amazing. Able to be swam in but still cold :) Great place to relax in both winter and summer

Love this beach. A lot of people all the time, and parking can be tough but its worth the wait. Clean bathrooms, areas to have a bbq, water is shallow for a good 70 yards. Liam wishes this was his homd beach. Typically good vibes, can be a a party like atmosphere but everyone seems to keep things in check. @liam_the_local
