Bijou Municipal Golf Course — Attraction in South Lake Tahoe

Affordable pretty good muni golf course. Fairways are good, stay straight high rough on the left when starting out, trees on the right. Greens are not greens. Mixed sparse grass, weeds & other growth. But a great course to play with Heavenly's mountains as your backdrop. Relaxing if the pace of play is good, otherwise can be frustrating. This is the worst golf course I have ever stepped foot on. Out of the bottom of my heart please don’t play here, but if you do you might as well just forget your putter at home. You are better off chipping into the hole off the dirt greens with a couple of weeds on them. Watch you step on hole nine tee box as you might startle the wasp nest is the tree which my buddy...

Went here for a quick family game of scramble. We walked in a larger group of 6 and let others play through. It was beautiful day but sprinkled on us a few times.
