DICK'S Sporting Goods — Attraction in South Plainfield

Stopped by this store to purchase ammunition with my wife and son and I️ have to say it wasn’t a really good experience. 1st off the young sales associate who decided to help me in the ammunition section was really rude had a attitude like he didn’t wanna help me .2nd he called the manager over to and he also had a attitude did t wanna hear what I️ had to say and also walked off while I️ was trying to speak to him and educate him on why my DL doesn’t match my FID .Now clearly the DMV doesn’t send you the strip anymore so I️ had a DMV letter that confirms my change of address that matches my NJ state Carry license I’ve been to numerous places and Dick’s and I️ explained to them and they all asked for the letter and my carry Permit I’ve even purchased my guns with and they respected the fact of my County ID and Badge so why is it so different and such a big problem . Fully felt like I️ was being treated like a criminal like I️ didn’t have all the required documentation for the ammunition purchase at the store so sad that even as a manager you would walk away while I’m explain to you specific things and while I’m with my wife and son.I️ sure will not be visiting that store anymore so sorry will go to every other Dick’s just...

Never coming here again, horrible service!! Went to get a pair of sneakers for my child had them hold them and came back to have my child try them on, the store closings at 9 and it was 8:30pm. My kid then wanted a different pair of sneakers which we had tried on the display ones that was in her size. I then ask one of the workers if she can grab the pair of shoes and she told me that they can’t get anymore shoes because they are closing!? Well one they never announce that to no one even comes and ask you if you need help you have to go looking for people which is horrible. So as I was a little annoyed, I went up to the register and asked for the manager, and the guy said he was the manager. I then explained to him that I wanted these pair sneakers, but they told me that they are no longer getting sneakers. he goes “Yes, unfortunately we can’t”. I said “well that sucks, and the store loses money like that”. He then reply’s “we’re fine with that.” Like are you serious, horrible management skills and no respect to you customers! They’re going back to put all the shoes away, so why can’t you they just grab the pair and give it to me to pay for, makes no sense!!! I would fire him as manager because he sucks. Wish I had a...

Bought pickleball rackets here. Took them out of the bag they were in. There was no shrink wrap on it or anything. Only the bag was wrapped in plastic. When I took it out, it was obviously used. There were oil prints on both paddles, the glue was falling off one of the paddles. Went to return it and they denied my return. Saying store policy, it was obviously used. They obviously sold me used paddles.

When you sell me something used, refuse to make it right because it's not in the original packaging, and then get all upset when people go to places like Amazon where you can return something extremely easily, that's on you.
