Connecticut Mattress South Windsor — Attraction in South Windsor

Update two years after purchase of the mattress. No longer as comfortable therefore removing a star. I find myself sleeping on my couch to give my back a break from the bed.

Had a wonderful experience at Connecticut Mattress located in Evergreen Walk. A mattress is an expensive item and I do prefer taking my time to test them out. I was greeted by a salesperson name Walt. I gave him an idea of what I’m interested in and based on my description he recommended a few for me to try and pretty much gave me the space to make my decision. I’ve gone to several place prior to this and I mean who want someone standing over you while you test out the mattresses, Right?! When we needed Walt to answer a few more questions to make our final decision he was readily available. I mean the selection he recommended was right on point, I’ve even tried some he didn’t recommend and definitely wasn’t for me. Walt definitely knows his stuff. The other staff and Tom were also friendly with their interactions with each other, making it a relaxing atmosphere. UPDATE: immediately after posting this, the store manager contacted me and wanted to make things right. We went to the store, they gave me the missing bundle from delivery day, as well as an extra pillow to compensate for the mistake. Oh, and I even got the chocolates!, Got to meet Mike the owner, such a nice guy and very appreciative of my business. Found out he went to Quinnipiac which is where I go to school! Glad I was able to do business with QU Alumni!

Service at the store was great, and delivered in a reasonable timeframe as they said. However I was informed the day of delivery that they forgot the bundle part of the order (sheets, pillows, etc) and now I have to drive all the way back to the showroom to pick it up. It’s gonna be about a 40-50 minute drive for something they could’ve included in delivery. Also, I’ve had family that bought from here before and they received the bed completely made with chocolates and a signed note from the owner. I’m not concerned about the missing chocolate (I am more about the missing sheets), but just wanted to note that because as a business owner myself, it’s the little things that matter! It has been a few weeks since I got my mattress delivered. I was so confused as to what to get because of all my health issues. I had a conversation with Tom Wholley, he asked me about the issues I have and from there he knew exactly what I needed.

The mattress was delivered on time by Hector and Jose, who were so kind and helpful. They spent time showing me how to use the bed (I got an adjustable) and set it up at the exact hight I needed. They cleaned up after as though they were never there. Because of Covid19 they came in masks, which was great. They even left a little box of chocolates.

With Hector and Jose working for Connecticut Mattress I knew there wasn't a middle man. True to Connecticut Mattress's reputation their service from start to finish was second to none!!

The mattress itself is amazing I got a King Koil mattress with an Adjustable base. I can actually sleep! On really back pain days I can go in and release all of the pressure points from my body and still work on the computer, watch tv or just listen to the birds outdoors.
