CJ'S Jazz Cafe and Banquet Hall — Attraction in Southfield

Well I spoke to CJ on Tuesday about a catering for my office luncheon. I explained to him that I had to make sure everyone was going to participate. I called him two days later all of a sudden he doesn’t do morning catering, next excuse: what type of food were you trying to serve and he has to get up too early to cook etc He went on and on , excuse after excuse, I sat on the phone just listening. He finally said I don’t even know who you are, and just hung up on me. I was in total shock. After I calm down and did some thinking, I decided to change the time of my luncheon to accommodate him. So I had someone call back with a new time and date. Now he doesn’t do catering jobs anymore, and he even started promoting his banquet hall Which he charges $100 an hour +8 dollars per person on top of that. Received his services for my wedding in September 2021. Neither my planner nor Myself were ever able to get in touch with him on the first call and had to call two different numbers. He took us on a tour of his venue while we were meeting for the first time and he informed us that drinks and food ware would be provided. We double checked about drinks while we were out getting adult beverages. I ordered plates because I wanted decorative plates. Wedding day comes. No flatware. It was annoying but could have been overlooked. The next day MY Guests informed me that he went to a few tables to state that we were unprofessional. Why are you complaining about me to my guests. We went to CJ's Jazz Cafe for my sister's 50th birthday party. The food, atmosphere & music were really good. However there was a gentleman in a chef's uniform who was very helpful & polite but he wore gloves as he touched EVERYTHING!!
