This place as an outdoors store "company " is good .But the staff in Spanish Fort location ,not so good at what they do. Called over to check on an outboard. Wanted to know , One Do you sell them ? Yes Then how much is the price ? Let me look Then do you actually have one in stock I can come and pick up today.? I told the person ,I would be driving over from Pensacola. Yes we have one right here. Point here is ,I'm having to ask way to many questions to sell this motor to my self. Team member involved was as blah and lacking in enthusiasm to sell this as one could probably be. I told them put my name on it I'm on my way ,I need to swoop in and grab it up . So, I get there and I tell another person that was back in that department ,I came for one of your Mercury Outboards . He Said okay, started to tell my wife as I walked over to look. That we probably won't be able take it today. That we need to pay for it . Then they keep it to service it and do paper work etc and it's backed up in that department. We are not talking about a bolt down motor here. It's a portable 4 stroke 3.5hp Mercury motor. All this should have been explained on the phone ,so the customer could be prepared to make an informative decision . Also it turns out There's other fees . Should've explained that too. Then for some odd reason they needed my divers license. Along with an information card. I end up at this store for a few hours and spent about 150.00 more than planned on. When I left there, I was so aggravated I spent more time and money than planned and that the service depart didn't remember to give the MSO and I had to ask for it ...
That I didn't go and ask for my ID back. So, I get back to Pensacola and to find out they still have my driver's license. I call the store and it is was about two hours before they found where the sales person put it. So I had to drive all the way back to pick the ID up. During all of this,there was not one time this team involved seemed to be nothing but nonchalant about the idea I just invested 2 days and more money than I should've to get a product from them and help support the business...

As for an anchor store I didn't have a great experience.
I LOVE BASS PRO. I have shopped at their stores across the country. Sadly this was not favorite store... I didnt make the list. Pros. *Door greeter. Was excellent! She was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Check out. Fast and efficient, the clerk was friendly and helpful. Fishing was great, very helpful and solved my problems. Cons *Guns/Ammo He didn't know what they stocked, he had to check the shelves and even recommended the wrong shot. I gave him info on a magazine, from their website, part #s etc same deal. He never offered to order it online, if another store had any or when they expected more. It was disappointing. 2nd floor we were basically ignored. 2 employees on there phones and having a conversation. *ATV I'm looking for a new ATV/UTV. I made 3 trips to talk to someone and was ignored. Clothing no help in finding what I wanted. I left with 1 shirt.
I easily spend $1000 myself and I will, at a DIFFERENT STORE.
4 of us went in and spent $100-200

I've the very nice people say the same thing. I lose ten pounds of water weight then shiver my teeth out.----I don't know who this person is trying to drum up business buy commenting and leaving a web link. But the link is no good and I REALLY don't appreciate the fact that they are doing this. I'm always up for small business especially locally owned.
