I have yet to attend an event at this venue that I haven’t enjoyed! The Park seems to suit every purpose, from egg hunts to concerts to kite festivals. When not used for an event or festival, the park has a wonderful splash pad that the city turns on in the summer months. It’s a great outdoor space!

I had a wonderful time in the park during the 4th of July Red, White, and Boom celebration. The weather was a bit warm ok hot. But as the evening comes in, the wind blows cool breeze into the night. The orchestra band played and had a group sign in the fireworks 🎆.

Beautiful place for a picnic, take a nap in the sun, or just hang out with family or friends. They host events throughout the year. You can sit and listen to the trains as well as watch the squirrels. The amphitheater is right there

Don’t waste your time going to Pickin In the Park... the concert only lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes. You’ll spend 20 minutes in line for drinks and the event was so packed you spend another 35 minutes in line for the bathroom. It’s an acoustic concert so just four mediocre country artist sitting in a circle singing with a guitar. Would not recommend this event to anyone with good taste in events or music. I completely understand this event is a non profit for the children of Saint Jude however, this event is one of a kind in Spartanburg and could potientlly raise a lot of money for those children if advertise correctly and...

We love almost everything about Barnet Park but a few adjustments could make it that much better. Beautiful Amphitheater. Awesome landscaping and setup. The wife open space is really something to love. I love the art. Absolutely adore it. Bathrooms need to be way bigger and more modern. Love love love the splash pad but there's absolutely no shade. None. It's awful to endure while your children are playing. There is no pavilions close to eat under unless you walk across the park. Not very parent friendly. Bathrooms are far away as well. A playground would most definitely add to...

I attended the Forth of July celebration. The park is nice; but it lacks adequate parking space, a swimming pool, open areas - and the Forth of July celebration was very poorly coordinated: the city (which should be ashamed) did not provide a diversity of music nor food vendors. The fireworks were nearly one-half mile away, could not be seen from the park, never really reached a climax and ended in about 15 minutes. It is a perfect example of why Spartanburg is lagging behind Greenville. I will...
