4.0 | coffee shop gem in Spartanburg. rlly enjoyed this place and the only gripe is they don’t have a standard size cappuccino- 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk / 1/3 foam. a cappuccino is my pretentious go-to to see if a coffee shop knows their chops lol. so sorry, they didn’t pass. lol. howeverrrr, I still give high ratings because their cortado was rlly good and dialed in, and their seasonal drink the ā€œstormā€ one, with earl grey foam, rlly clever and satisfying. they have some pretty good parties as well, and the space is super cute and incorporated with natural light. what more do you need out of a coffee shop?

I only bought a cappuccino because I wasn't hungry. But the atmosphere in this place is very nice and calm. Friendly staff and delicious coffee.

A great local coffee shop in Spartanburg downtown. Very scenic in its location, located in the lower floor of an apartment building and next to an old church. The location is also in walking distance of a large parking garage so parking is easy to find. The staff are always friendly and the seasonal drinks are a treat. The food is also incredibly good and fairly priced. Their avocado toast is a must have, but make sure to come early for it because they often run out of avocado :) Also, a very work friendly space. Lots of tables and seating, as well as several available outlets.

If you're searching for a coffee shop that perfectly blends outstanding food, excellent coffee, and a unique ambiance, look no further than The Pharmacy Coffee in the Upstate area. This charming spot, one of Little River Roasting Co.'s locations, is a must-visit for coffee lovers and anyone looking to unwind in a thoughtfully designed space.

The atmosphere is one of the first things you'll notice—pharmacy-inspired decor paired with a beautiful view creates a relaxing and distinctive setting that feels both welcoming and inspiring. Whether you're journaling, catching up with friends, or simply savoring a quiet moment, this is a place that truly elevates the experience.

The coffee here is just as spectacular as you'd expect. I started with the Lump of Coal, a rich and indulgent drink complemented by a bold shot of espresso. It was the perfect pick-me-up to kick off my visit. For lunch, I tried the Vannerson on Croissant, a delicious combination of smoked turkey, hummus, havarti cheese, cucumber, tomato, and mayo layered onto a flaky, buttery croissant. Every ingredient was fresh, and the flavors balanced beautifully—clearly, a lot of care goes into crafting their menu.

The staff at The Pharmacy Coffee are another highlight. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure every guest felt right at home. Their kindness added to an already exceptional experience.

If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by The Pharmacy Coffee. From the incredible food and coffee to the thoughtful ambiance, this spot is a gem...

First time I went here my latte's milk was just destroyed with air and bubbles, you'd think I ordered a cappuccino. Obviously with that there isn't even possibility for latte artšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø I don't remember seeing a scale used for the shot either, Just eyeing? Wow. Seeing pics on the google page of seemingly well done drinks and latte art only proves to me a lack of passion and/or inconsistent training with some workers vs others.

Went a second time and ordered a simple aeropress drink. It was weak. Idk how that's even possible but it was very weak tasting. Perhaps it could of been an inconsistency in the actual roast from little river? Unfortunate really. Such a stunning place. Serving very mid coffee. Also Torani syrups? Really? House made syrups should be standard by this point. Being a third wave shop, I don't understand why the quality is so inconsistent and...

Let me start off by saying the food and coffee were good. The issue is with the very slow service. Only two people were working and seemed like only one person would do food and the other on drinks. Yet the person who was doing food moved at a snail's pace and never would go help make drinks when they didn't have any food to worry about. On top of that, I saw the lady who was prepping the food drop a sandwich on the workstation, visibly show frustration, picked up the sandwich and put it on a plate for a customer to have. If this place is just hurting from not being able to higher enough people, I get it. But they definitely need more help and faster service. I waited roughly 20-30 minutes to be served and get my food. And that was getting only a muffin with a biscuit cold...
