Indigo Hall & Events — Attraction in Spartanburg

Indigo Hall was a perfect spot for my daughter’s wedding. We used the outside garden area for the ceremony and the covered patio for the cocktail hour. The weather was extremely hot so although cocktail food was set up outside, most guests got their food and went inside to the AC, The upper room was spacious and allowed seating for approximately 125. Tonya was so easy to work with. She helped with setup, allowed us access to several props belonging to IH: cross for ceremony, ferns, lanterns, and more. Tony’s was with us for setup on Thursday and Friday. She checked in on Saturday to be certain all was well and returned on Sunday to help us clean up. My daughter insisted on a DIY wedding and although it was a lot of work, working with Indigo Hall and Tonya made it much easier. The only negative I can say is the floor could have been cleaner. Very loud venue acoustically. I DJ'd a wedding here some time ago and just thought it was a loud large crowd. I turned my music off to make an announcement and recorded the crowd at above 90 decibels. I figured it was just a noisy drinking fun loving group, but then I went there for a corporate retirement party with a bunch of dry old ho hum folks and as more people showed up the venue got loud again. With a full house just expect to have to scream at your guests to have a conversation. Beyond that the access, parking, courtyard area, and building itself are great. Indigo Hall was the perfect space for our event. It looked amazing both inside and out and the cherry on top was how wonderful it was working with Tonia, the owner. She made sure our event was the best it could possibly be and was a delight to work with. Having a full kitchen for the caterers was incredible and made all of the food and drink service go seamlessly. Having the beautiful outdoor space where people could go to take pictures or be a little removed from the music and dancing made it the perfect event space.
