My son and I came to get boba as a special mom son date and he was very excited. When we arrived there were two people waiting and one of them got their order as soon as we stepped up. We sat standing at the cash register for 5 minutes unacknowledged while three people were working on things. One girl looked at us once but not one of them said a single word while we stood there for 5 minutes. When I mentioned this and expressed frustration that our presence couldn’t even be acknowledged (like a “hey we’ll be right with you” goes a LONG way, my son literally said “this is weird it’s like we’re invisible”) I was met with a rude response and a seemingly mocking “we’ll be right with you” accompanied by a borderline eye roll. How disappointing, we have come here for years and has always been a place for a special treat for my family. We won’t be back and these three need some substantial training on...
Read moreVery poor service. My boyfriend and I got milk tea drinks and his turned out very bland and flavorless. He wasn't very happy with it and went to ask for either a refund or if they could remake his drink. They completely refused both. It took both me and him to get that refunded after they kept refusing and referred to call the "store itself"?? With no provided phone number or information. They didn't know who their manager was as we just wanted to see if anyone could help, yet kept refusing a refund for a poor quality drink. Finally, they said they can remake it and it had a lot much more flavor than the first time and turned out very good. I don't know of any places that refuse to remake food/drinks if they don't turn out right, I found it rather insulting that they didn't seem to care if customers are not satisfied because something was wrong. Neither of us plan...
Read moreTried this bubble tea place in Spokane Valley mall when I got my bubble tea craving. The only positive thing was the convenience of the location within the mall. Unfortunately, there are not many options for bubble tea in this area especially on a Sunday. The options as well as the flavor was pretty disappointing. When I went, they were out of tapioca (several hours before closing), so I tried the mango popping boba and I did not care for its taste. The tea itself was too sweet. It was not particularly cheap, $5+ so I definitely will not be going back. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in Spokane Valley, I will just go with good old tea or coffee, and simply avoid bubble tea.
Note: I had a hard time finding this place. It's on the main floor of the mall, just outside Sears. Don't make the mistake of going up to...
