Food is great; if that’s what you want to hear. However being lied to and acted as if I am the one in the wrong is unacceptable.
We ordered (through DoorDash) an order for pick up at 6:58pm. I arrived about 10 minutes before our order was expected to be ready because I wanted to make sure it was as fresh as possible.
I arrived and gave the name for our order and was told it would be about 5 minutes.
After about 7 or 8 minutes they bring me an order, but it is the wrong one. Even the wrong name.
I show them the pictures from our DoorDash order, and the texts showing they accepted the order (at 6:58). They go too look and one of the staff comes back and says “it looks like the order was already picked up.”
I said, “if that’s the case it was given to the wrong person because we just placed it and I have been sitting here nearly 10 minutes.”
She responded “well we check the names and orders before giving them out, so it was picked up, but we’ll remake it I guess.”
All while this is going on another staff member is still looking around, takes one of our items out of another bag with someone else’s name on it. Prints a new receipt goes to the back and…ope suddenly it’s there. With the door dash receipt on it and everything.
Except the door dash receipt was a reprinted one so they didn’t find our order.
I take it and get home and the appetizer is absolutely cold. It’s obvious it had been sitting a while. Likely because they gave our order to the wrong person and this other order that they took our appetizer from had been sitting out this whole time.
The sushi was still good, but I sure hope it wasn’t just sitting around the whole time too.
Overall, extremely disappointed to be treated like I was the one in the wrong. Just admit you messed up and have our order away, or forgot to make it, or lost the receipt. Don’t blame me as if we already...
Read moreI've always scrolled past this place with an intent to try someday, and so when I looked up sushi spots within 3 miles of my job, I was grateful to have a reason that was also a convenience. I popped over for my lunch break. This place is in a drab strip mall, with a crumbling parking lot, and an outdated interior. Needs a serious facelift. But the food was incredible and they definitely try to aim to please. Ordered a mai tai, shrimp & vegetable tempura, and The Alaskan Roll, Red Dragon Roll and lastly, a double set of salmon Nigiri (not pictured). Just the right amount of soy sauce mixed with wasabi and this place gives the more in-demand hipster sushi hotspots a run for their money.. Seafood and veggies fresh and of surprising quality. The portions were HUGE and they aren't stingy with the seafood. The only reason I gave four ⭐ instead of five was that when I requested (or I thought, waiter said he heard different), for additional cost, that real crab replace the imitation crab in the two different rolls, I only received the change for The Alaskan Roll (which was the right decision, tasted GR8!) but not the Red Dragon and while still edible I could not get imitation crab aftertaste from my mouth. It was a wonderful experience, but that marred it a little from being perfect. But I am only rating my first and only dining experience here. I plan to return and maybe the rating will change. But overall food was delicious 😋
UPDATE: Came back two days later with additional pics And ⭐! Also tried the Spicy Seafood Ramen...craaazy good!! 👍 🔥 One of my Favorite sushi...

My life is always moving, so with this last birthday, my husband wanted to take me out for a birthday dinner, but we had to keep putting it off. After a few weeks, a co-worker asked me how my birthday dinner had gone? I advised her that I hadn't been able to go yet, but I was leaning towards sushi when I did. At that. She highly recommended "this" place, so we put things off to the side for the evening (after 7) and found our way here. I'm glad we did.
It's a very busy (but not overcrowded) place that kept the waitress hopping and saw a steady flow of customers all through our dinner. There was no wait to be seated, but there were very few seats not taken.
Service was good. The food was great for the most part (although my barbecued park appetizer seemed a little dry for me, but I'm partial to eating with a hot mustard to dip into and this didn't come with any). The worst part of the night was narrowing my sushi choice to my final selection.
In the end, I was pleased with my choice ( I can't recall the name of the sushi roll already, but it had a number at the end, like 24.)
I'm looking forward to coming back again and trying more from their sushi menu.
We...
