This is one of my favorite Asian Markets to go to. I usually go here or the Hong Kong Market. I love the Korean food selection and I love the fresh Kimchi you can buy here (it is better than the one at Hong Kong Market my opinion). Since it is a small store, the produce is always good quality. Only once did I come home and my green beans were moldy a couple of days later. However, most of the time the produce is amazing.

I also love that they sell stickers, because it's hard to get cute stationary things unless you go down to Chinatown, so I appreciate the small selection they sometimes have.

In the back is the option to buy some hot Korea food, such as japchae and other classic Korean dishes. However, it is only on certain days at certain times, so make sure to check that. Also, when they run out they run out. The food is prepared somewhere else and they sell it in the back. So if you want a certain dish, it is better to go earlier than later to have a better chance at buying what you want.

The only setback that can be frustrating, is that the products are not always consistently there. This is the only place I know that would sell the big good quality Filipino siopao and that hasn't been in stock for a while,...

The owner and family are really nice. It is always my pleasure to support a family business as my family is also in foodservice. Normally I am not a someone who post but today took the cake. They serve hot food in the back of the store, the lady that sells the warm food is by far the meanest, rudest person i have seen at this store. She has been there for a little bit and the past three times i have interacted with her have been horrible, so bad that i did not get the duck the past two times, today i did- needed it. Apparently now, as she screamed at me, she is not responsible for the duck. And i mean yelled. The young guy at the register said they are a completely different business from them. Really too bad because people are not able to tell. I cannot tell you how excited i was to know that my family had a Asian Market so close by but now i just might drive the hour plus to Houston. The owners get high marks but low overall review for letting someone this mean, rude, and condescending occupy...

Stopped by this store for a specific mix. I saw it was empty on the shelf but there were rows of unopened boxes on top where you couldn’t see the numbers on half of them. I asked for help to see if we could look at the rows where we couldn’t see the numbers, and the lady refused to check. She was rude, cutting me off and said she would not check because if it’s empty on the shelf, it’s not there. If you’re going to go to this store, DO NOT expect customer service. I was beyond surprised at how rude she was and how she really refused to get a ladder and just check when there were so many boxes up there. She was so rude that I ended up leaving and not buying anything from them. Disappointed. There are other Asian stores in the area where they actually greet you and help you when you ask,...

Not a bad market, but not great either. I am in the Woodlands and have trouble getting some of my Asian ingredients and vegetables that I've grown used to living in NYC. If I can't make it to 99 Ranch in Katy, then I'll stop here. That said, if 99 Ranch was closer, I'd just go there every visit instead. This place likely has enough for you to get by on your ingredients, but lacks anything new or interesting you might want to try. Like I said, in a pinch, this place is great, but if you have the time you'll be better served elsewhere. Vegetables here are very nice and always fresh.

I saw a review complaining that masks were required. As I have severe lung issues this was a positive thing for me. I decided to go check it out and was very pleased with the selection. It is a rather small store, however it had more Japanese items then the Hong-Kong market which is where I traditionally go. I was very pleased to find my favorite chili oil! Parking was easy and the store associates were efficient. I will definitely visit again!

This is a small, mom-and-pop store where I regularly buy baby bok choy, fresh garlic, limes, mung bean sprouts, and purple sweet potatoes. The produce is always fresh and reasonably priced. While the store is definitely limited in size and selection, I find it reliable for the items I need. The staff is friendly and helpful, which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. It’s not a one-stop shop, but it’s a good spot for certain fresh staples.
