Foodie's dream. Martindale's is magnificent. I do love grocery shopping but Martindale's took it to the next level for me. I went 1x (1st time) on Christmas Eve. I specifically went for minced ginger by The Ginger People and found much, much more. What delighted me the most was they had ALL the products I shop at different stores for in one place, at competitive pricing, and I can pick everything up in person (reduces online ordering for specialty items not available in chain grocery stores). For me, highlights include: Milkadamia Macadamia Creamers, Daiya Products, Wholsome Organic Powdered Sugar, Vital Proteins, and PUR gum. I was also able to find canned organic mushrooms which I have been on the hunt for. My list is an injustice to the totality of amazing quality (and quantity of) products offered at Martindale's. I highly, highly, recommend checking it out yourself. Two other points of mention, the staff and the organization/layout of the store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked questions about specific products and they had answers or were willing to find them. Also, I really liked the layout of the store. There are "departments" so-to-speak like a chain grocery store but it's cozier and loaded with amazing products at EVERY turn and aisle. There's a spot for organic produce, grocery items, a freezer section, supplements, health & beauty, baking, a bulk bin section, etc. Also, they have personal/gift items like jewelry. I didn't take any pictures (too busy shopping!). You could check out their IG, or website, or just go to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe used to have a positive opinion of this establishment, and I've been a customer here for over seven years. Initially, our experiences were consistently good, with the store staff being friendly and polite. Polite as we have always been, our recent experiences have been marred by the rude behavior of a particular staff member at the register, identifiable by their glasses and short hair. Although I generally strive to be polite, it seems that she consistently conveys a less-than-friendly attitude. During our last visit, my 7-year-old daughter greeted her, but she failed to respond. Politely, I conveyed that my daughter had greeted her, to which she responded with a belated apology, citing not having heard it. It's concerning that such rudeness is directed at customers, particularly young children.
Additionally, I observed another reviewer raising similar concerns about this same employee. I hope the management team takes notice of these complaints and takes appropriate action. We make a considerable effort to visit this establishment from Delaware, and we hope not to encounter similar customer service issues...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNico in supplements is spectacular. Never been to this store before (a lot of my friends hyped it up to me). Checked it out, was impressed by the clean selection of product brands. But when I ventured off into the vitamin pharmacy area I was greeted by this very pleasant young man (boy what a beard he has too). I must have asked him a million questions I thought I was annoying him but he assured me I wasnāt and carefully explained things to me. Ended up buying some really good products for me and my husband. For me, nicos sleep supplement (it was a little gel packet) has been helping me tremendously and also his suggestions for my husbands low energy / anemia has made great progress with beet root, grass fed liver and hemaplex. If I didnāt live so far Iād come more often. Prices are high but worth it. Highly recommend this store and if you go to the vitamin department talk to the guy with the beard. Very educated and friendly. 10/10...
