AZ Performance — Attraction in Springfield

WARING…DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! They refuse to tell you the cost of the service or at least give an estimate for the service being done. Then when you come to pick up your vehicle they surprise you with the bill which doesn’t make sense. I took my dodge Durango here to get a tuneup and I was charged one price at the start of the service which I was told was for the cost of the parts which was fine at first. Then I tried to ask how much would be due at the time of pick up and wasn’t given a estimate or even a response when I asked. I was told my car would be ready at a certain time but it wasn’t when I contacted them and was told someone would reach out to me in 15 minutes but no one ever did and I ended up dozing off. Then a little after 10:30pm I’m contacted about my vehicle saying I can start heading there now and I’m still not provided with the balance at that point either. I get there to pick it up and I’m given a bill for an additional $1000+ which doesn’t make sense so I’m trying to ask to get a better understanding but the numbers still don’t make sense even after looking at the bill especially when he’s telling me I was given a discount for this and wasn’t charged for that because I still ended up well over $2000 total for a tuneup and technically he wanted to charge me more had I not spoken up and he didn’t even have one of the parts so I still have to get that done which will still be and additional cost that I have to pay. And of course I didn’t come ready to pay $1000+ since I wasn’t provided with a total or estimate so I ask if I can use a card and I’m told only Zelle or cash. I don’t have Zelle so I’m force to find a atm after 11 pm because I need my car. If this information was disclosed before hand and the total or at least an estimate was given this could have been avoided especially since it was so late at night. Then I’m looking under the hood of my car and wondering if everything was actually done for what I paid or was certain things just cleaned to make it look like new because of how it looks. He offered to do another service for me at a later date but I will not be returning to this establishment due ti to the fact they had my car for over 8 hours when I was told it wouldn’t have it for that long, the poor customer service provided me with by not communicating the price, and the ridiculous price I was charged without warning. Most mechanics will at least provide you with an estimate after inspecting the vehicle and then call and inform you if anything changes. I been sitting on this review for over 2 years now because I wanted to gather all the necessary information.

Straight up they were only supposed to have my car for 2 weeks. They had it for 7 months…

They severely damaged the interior of my 2010 370z Nismo.

Not only did they admit to the damage but also told me who damaged it.

They told me we could go through insurance if necessary and when I did could you guess what happened?

They denied everything even though they told me who did it…

On top of all this they stole my CATS and my Headers. They claim it was taken by scrappers which has absolutely nothing to do with me. They were instructed to return all my original parts but these two parts (which are needed for inspection) just happened to go missing. They assured me they would get me new ones which obviously never happened.

They returned my car to me several times with an empty tank even though it was full every time they got it back.

They returned it to me with the radio not working.

They returned it to me and all the coolant leaked out.

They returned it to me and broke rca cables in the amp.

I brought all new plastic clips for under the hood, they returned it to me with all them missing.

They returned it to me with coolant sprayed all over the windshield and underside of the hood.

These are all separate occasions mind you but because they kept messing it up I had to keep brining it back to be corrected.

After everything is said and does there are thousands of dollars worth of interior parts that need to be replaced that does not include labor.

Do yourself the favor and don’t violate your car by brining it here.

There is no amount of 5 star reviews that can convince me these guys are not con artists. Just don’t do it to yourself. I got info from not only my experience but several others who have also had similar experiences brining their cars to them.

I have before pictures to prove everything I’m saying. So don’t believe the bs. Also I ain’t spend to chump change on this work either, we are talking over 9k in work even more in parts and even more in time that I will not get back.

Brought them my hellcat redeye bc supercharger was making funny noises, for almost a week they had it, appreciate he rushed me in but everything they did was poorly done, the diagnosis was wrong stated supercharger was dry on lubricant and they told me they would lube it up whatever boom get a call stating that the noise was completely gone then he moved onto saying my long tube headers werent tight, there goes another 2 hours of work and they arent cheap 170* a hour which is ballistic. Total of 10 "hours" worked on my car and it totaled to $1900-$1930 something basically $2k down the drain because these guys cant be firm on a price for work claiming everything is on his computer when i took supercharger apart took 2 hours then later on put my belt on wrong ! These guys want your money and thats it will sweet talk you the whole way. Probably only good performance guys to there own peoples. They held my car for days to do nothing noise was still there. I dont write reviews unless i want people to stay away from there instead of just telling me i need a new supercharger or rebuilding it they just charged my on labor i didnt need ! Complete rip off if you have a performance vehicle do not come here. They will overcharge and just tell you this many hours for example 🤦🏽‍♂️ and when your at the shop no one is...
